Had a wonderful mini break for my 50th birthday, Andrea was lovely and on entering the yurt there was a surprise birthday card and cake. Made my day. The yurt is gorgeously decorated and cosy. Great fire pit outside which you can cook on and utensils provided. Great communal kitchen with designated yurt items so no one is without. Each yurt has its own private bathroom in a bathroom block giving you your privacy which is well appointed and the toiletries provided are lush. Would definitely return and recommend.

what a wonderful place to be. the yurt is spacious and well furnished. The pipo wagon with sanitary facilities and kitchen is conveniently furnished and everything you need is there. Outside a wonderful space, with lots of fruit trees and a campfire place. Eda gave good tips of places where it was nice to be, suitable for me. In addition, a wide range of workshops to choose from. A very special place!

Great place, loved it here. Even with other people around it still feels like you have your own space to disconnect from the world if that’s what you want. Some beautiful places nearby within 20mins of driving.

We had an amazing time. We were looking for a place to disconnect, be in nature and simply exist. Dominik's yurt nailed it. We love living simple and every detail contributed to that, we loved to set fire to heat the place, the sauna... All in all, was a 11 out of 10 experience for us. We had no signal on our phones, no internet, a lot of privacy and surrounded by nature. It can only be amazing. Since it's a bit far from the city (not so much), we brought groceries enough for your full stay and to cook and keep everything was possible – and smart I think. Since the weather was unstable, we didn't do any hikes, but we had our board games, guitar and it was really beautiful to enjoy the sun when was there but also staying cozy with a fire inside. The price for having the wood and using the bath tube was too high. And the sauna and the bathtub + cold shower were also one of our highlights. 100% recommended and I surely would like to go back.

Had a fantastic stay in Woody and Tamara was an excellent host. The hut itself is so well thought out and makes such good use of the space. It was clean and incredibly comfortable, and Tamara has thought of everything you may need and then some, including fresh eggs from the resident chooks. The location is lovely, such nice views making for such a peaceful experience. We managed to enjoy the outdoor fire pit, but the big windows in the hut were perfect for the windy and rainy days so we could sit in and still enjoy watching the world go by. We highly enjoyed our trip exploring the Uists and staying at Tamara’s made it even better as it was the perfect place to come back to each day after exploring. Would highly recommend and would certainly look to stay again on a return trip out that way.

Our first stop of the 4-week cycling holiday. Everything breathes the atmosphere we love, both inside and outside. 1 night, was not enough afterwards. But we will definitely come back for a few days. Roos & Thijs have created a beautiful place. Compliments! Frits & Rob

We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful treehouse for a mini getaway, and it was absolutely perfect. Tucked away in a peaceful, secluded spot, it offered the quiet and calm we were hoping for. The setting was wonderfully rustic, with just the right balance of comfort and charm to make it feel both cozy and unique. Our host was fantastic very responsive and available if needed, while still giving us complete privacy to enjoy the space. The surrounding area is just as lovely, with picturesque villages nearby that are perfect for exploring, dining, or just wandering through. We had such a relaxing and enjoyable stay that we’re already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended for anyone needing a little escape from the everyday.

Laia is an amazing warm friendly host. She really helped me to relax and enjoy maximum the stay. The peacefulness and being able to make your own fire speak with nature was something I really missed. the place has a grounded energy and I will definitely come back again. thank you Laia!

Ali truly enhanced our experience; she is friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. From giving us a tour to organising events and even lending us her bike, her hospitality was outstanding. Whether you're seeking a peaceful retreat or a fun escape, this place has it all!

Probably the best little get away we have ever done. Never stayed somewhere so amazing and beautiful, the fairy lights and flowers as the sun set and the night sky began to appear was just incredible. We made pizzas in the fire oven, went on a lovely forest walk and Emma even went the extra mile and provided a birthday cake for my girlfriend’s birthday which was such a lovely touch. Don’t hesitate, just book this now if you are ready for a perfect reset from normal life. Thanks Emma x

Amazing place even better in real life. Sophie & Calum have created a slice of hevan. Both hosts went above and beyond to make our stay the best it could possibly be, fresh bred and jams for breakfast fire wood supplied. service with a smile, a lovely couple and a magical place to stay. highly recommend.

We loved the yourte !!! Kenneth and Lisa were amazing with us! We’re very grateful for their hospitality and help. The yourte was clean and super cosy. We had the best stay and strongly recommend the place.

Bastis was amazing. We unfortunately only stayed one night with 4 people, but definitely want to be back for a longer stay. Communication was great and Basti greeted us personally and also helped out with very good local drinks. It is also great for travelling with pets as the property is fenced. Highly recommend!

Clara was a fantastic host - she was very helpful and thoughtful. My partner and I and our small dog had a fantastic weekend and would definitely visit again! The village is very creative and quirky with stunning natural scenery too - it has everything you need for a relaxing break :)

A lovely little slice of Heaven, Judy's yurt and her shepherd's hut an bus sit in a quiet peaceful location, close enough to shops if needed and to the beautiful Dorset countryside and coast near to Lulworth. The yurt gives you peace and solitude, with everything you need, very comfy bed, nice shower, small cooking area, seating indoor and out. The loo and shower are just a few steps outside the yurt, giving one a small sense of old style camping, but with a modern and stylish flare. Judy was accommodating with checking in and out times, and mindful of the weather in terms of what logs I might need for the stove vs the fire pit! lovely to wake up with the morning sun (and rain!) shining through the top of the yurt. I highly recommend this place and hope to go back myself.
