Naturhaus Altmühltal

Our nature house consists entirely of natural building materials and uses the synergy effects of radiant heat and solar energy. The untreated wood is constructed according to the system of Bio-Solar-Haus, whereby no paint or other preservatives were processed. The solid wood floors throughout the house are oiled. In addition to natural wood such as stone pine and oak, other natural materials such as natural stone from the region (Jura marble) have been processed. The construction of the Bio-Solar house allows a natural air circulation and thus dispenses with the disadvantages of ventilation systems. There are no convection formed due to a built-ceiling and wall radiant heating.Through the house-in-house system (without vapor barrier), the water vapor can diffuse freely to the outside, causing no condensation and mold. Given the low heating energy demand in the house and the use of solar radiation, no fossil fuels are needed. Solar energy is the main energy source, only in winter can be heated if necessary with the wood stove. The Walting vacation home is wonderfully located in the countryside - in a village, about 8 km from Lake Brombach, in the Franconian Lake District. The house has 180 square meters of living space and extends over two floors. On the first floor you can cook and eat. On the upper floor are the bedrooms and bathrooms. The vacation home is tastefully furnished with many nice details, such as lamps, dishes or bed linen. The house is ideal for a family with an attachment or two friendly families - up to 8 people.

Spend the night in the old wood warehouse of the carpenter's shop. The guest house can accommodate up to 7 people. In the old carpentry shop there is now a tasting room, which is available as a lounge during your visit. You are also welcome to book a tasting (wine, whiskey, beer, etc.) or a culinary journey. Because of the quiet and peaceful location of our cottage we decided not to install WiFi so our guest can take time out.
