We felt very relaxed and comfortable at Antonio’s lovely house and the garden and views were impressive. We appreciated the interesting features in the garden with its nature feel and enjoyed the pool and sauna which we thought was a real asset for the place. The house is interesting and cared about and Antionio was an excellent and helpful host. We were glad of the car we hired to access shops, restaurants, beach and walking areas as without one would be difficult but it suited us really well as 4 adults who wanted a base from which to explore Madeira.

It was a great BnB. It has awesome view, very well stocked kitchen and all the amenities one needs. Pedro was a really nice and organized host. We also met the black friendly kitty as mentioned by the other guest and took care of her for the week we were there. Supermarkets and restaurants were 5-6 min cardrive away. It was a perfect stay for us and will highly recommend it to everyone!

The place was perfect and lived up to our expectations. Quiet neighborhood and good location. Luis was very welcoming and gave good local recommendations. We highly recommend it!

ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED! I spent 8 days in the upper apartment of the house and Teresinha lives on the ground floor when she is on the island. The apartment was sparkling clean, the bathroom very nice, two bedrooms and a kitchen. The kitchen is very well equipped and the armchairs in the living room are comfortable. Every room has a sea view, you can always hear the sound of the sea - DREAMY. Beautiful garden with banana trees! The street in front of the house and the wonderful, huge terrace is sometimes more and sometimes less busy, but since the house is higher, you can hear the cars only a little in the apartment and at night it was very quiet. You can hear little to nothing from the adjacent restaurant. In part, however, the smell of food from the kitchen flows onto the terrace. Teresinha was present and she is simply a charming elderly lady - so sweet and warm! She spontaneously invited me to breakfast and to a glass of Madeira wine to say goodbye. I would book the apartment again anytime! Thank you, Teresinha!

The Bauhaus-style house leaves nothing to be desired. We immediately felt very comfortable. The house is very well maintained and in mint condition. All necessary equipment is available. The house was the entire house and the terraces were very clean including the bathrooms. The pool was heated as agreed and the cover also kept the temperature very well. Fatima introduced herself to us briefly on the second day, she is very nice and we immediately had a very friendly relationship. We were even allowed to try some tomatoes from her local garden. If you want to spend a relaxing vacation with pool time and hiking, you are in good hands there. We will be back!

Great little place with an amazing view

We stayed 13 nights at Fatima's. We've never had a place so clean! The accommodation is damp but Fatima makes sure that we are as comfortable as possible (spare sheets, towels in large quantities, etc.). The apartment is very well equipped, we did not lack anything. The views are splendid! Fatima and her family know how to welcome us, they are very kind and very responsive to our requests. The only negative point, but which is minimal compared to the full potential of the accommodation, is the sound insulation. The ceiling is only a floor and we can hear Fatima and her family walking if we stay in the apartment all day. The noise never woke us up or prevented us from falling asleep. We highly recommend this accommodation and now we know where to stay if we have the opportunity to return to visit the beautiful island of Madeira.

The accommodation was beautiful in a very quiet location with a breathtaking view. Everything was clean and furnished with love so that you can only feel comfortable from the first moment. It had everything you need, we also loved the many kitchen utensils and the grill, which we used every day. The terrace with whirlpool, lounge, loungers and table were the highlight. We spent a lot of time in the accommodation because we felt so comfortable. Calheta beach is 5 minutes by car and highly recommended. We also thought the private parking was great. Bruno and Maria are very accommodating and also asked how we are and if we need anything. The location was perfect for us, very quiet, lots of privacy and yet we can get everywhere by car. Lovely villa with stunning views. The hosts are great and everything is as described. Nice bonus are the cats that live in the yard. Would definitely book this place again next time we're in Madeira.

We had a great stay at Germano's. It is his parents who manage the accommodation, and they were very attentive to make sure our stay went perfectly! Thank you again. The accommodation is impeccable, spacious, perfectly equipped. The view is superb and the pool a real plus! There are plenty of good restaurants around, we enjoyed the quiet and the very peaceful side of Jardim do Mar with nice walks. We found it hard to leave! A gem of an address if you are looking for a unique place in Madeira for your holidays!

The accommodation offers a parking space, breathtaking views and in the kitchen you can find everything you need for cooking. Also very clean - so everything is great and you get what the pictures promise

Perfect value for money. The host is very responsive and helpful in any situation. The location is one of the best we've seen after 17 days on the island. There's a sandy beach nearby — a rare find on Madeira — plenty of restaurants, a good supermarket close by, and lots of parking spaces.

The stay at Juan’s House let us to relax in great atmosphere. The apartment is well equiped even including cofee machine. There is a view at ocean from taracce. It is very clean and very well prepared for guests.

Leonardo let us check in early. Beautiful clean environment right next to the water. He provided a clear and quick video to watch for instructions. Parking is a little complicated but your car is safe in a garage which is nice. Definitely recommend.

A lovely apartment: convenient, well-situated and pleasant views. Good location if you have a hire car; Funchal isn’t far at all, and there are many local shops and restaurants. Host-wise, unless you speak a little Portuguese, it can be slightly difficult; Jose is happy to call and speak for his mother. Very friendly and welcoming!!!

Wonderful apartment right on the ocean. The apartment was very spacious and has everything you need. Also has easy parking just outside. An extra bonus is all the great restaurants nearby!

We stayed for a week with 4 people in a very nice apartment. We enjoyed the 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Ideal for 2 couples. We highly recommend this clean and tastefully decorated accommodation. Can’t recommend enough. Clean, fantastic space, great location. Marina really helpful and always responsive. Well equipped kitchen with everything for meals in but equally a 10 minute drive into Funchal. The view from the apartment is beautiful and the location means everything is easily accessible. Supermarket across the road. We didn’t hire a car because the location was so great.
