Wake up to the sounds of nature, enjoy your morning coffee on the terrace on stilts, read a book, and go on hikes starting from the cottage: between Haut-Languedoc, Montagne Noire and Monts de Lacaune, to gently reconnect with what's essential.

La Verdine, opens directly onto a peaceful nature walk, is equipped with a bed in a lovely alcove, a new mattress, woody aromas, a small clawfoot bathtub, a kitchenette (with quality utensils and pdcts), and a convenient dry toilet (just steps outside). Nestled in the Haut Languedoc Park between the Southern town of Castres (40 minutes) and world heritage site of Albi (50 minutes) this cosy cottage is hidden away in the beautiful and largely undiscovered Vallée de Gijou. As an ex-restaurateur I can provide breakfast, lunches, picnics and dinners on order.
