Relax in this unique and peaceful accommodation with proximity to the swimming area. Here you enter the calm directly surrounded by the turn-of-the-century charm, linseed oil painted beadboard, well-equipped kitchen with large gas stove for those interested in cooking as well as amenities such as a dishwasher and water from a newly drilled well. Enjoy sitting in front of a crackling fire after a walk in the mushroom forest or cooling AC in the summer. The house was completely renovated in 2020. No shower and toilet inside but has a newly built outdoor shower and fresh outdoor toilet.

Here you can watch movies in front of a 100" screen with Dolby Atmos sound system. You sleep on memory foam mattresses. Family with children? We lend out a travel bed, toys, books - and a slide to the pool. There is free parking and Wi-Fi. Electric vehicle charging is available at an agreed price. The cottage is located right by Testeboån, about 2 meters from the veranda. It is possible to both swim and fish, or sit in the sunset and look out on the water. The cottage is fully equipped with everything you need for a stay. Wi-Fi, TV and parking are included. It is possible to borrow a washing machine, charge an electric car or rent the sauna, for a small fee. If you want to visit Gävle, there are bike paths, or you can take the bus from the bus stop, which is within 200 meters. During the summer, we sell vegetables.

Gammelgården is located in a nice village called Övermyra/Österberg, 2 km east of Storvik. Distance to nearby towns is Sandviken 13 km, Kungsberget 18 km, Gävle 36 km. Bus stop, 4-minute walk. The timber house is in Ottsjö Jämtland and was saved from being torn down when it was moved here. The interior design is unique with Swedish historical furniture and objects.
