My wife and I plus my sister in law rented Mrs Tuba house for a month recently(January 28 to February 28). The house was fully equipped with cooking supplies(everything you need to cook at home) house was clean with kitchen and living room looking at Sea of Marmara with easy access to public transport and food stores ,host was one of the kindest and politest people I met so far,she was doing her best to make sure we are comfortable and happy all the time. We highly recommend her lovely house to anyone that wants to enjoy his/her/their trip in Istanbul, Türkiye(Turkey). We are so grateful to Mrs Tuba for her hospitality during our stay.🙏🙏🙏

The location couldn’t be better for exploring Balat! You step out of the building right into the middle of the best street. There’s a coffee shop right below the apartment which opens at 07:00, and the rest of the street comes to life at around 09:30-10:30. Boutiques, mini market, cafes, restaurants, rooftop tea spots, mocktail bars, bbq spots - all just steps away. It is noisy at night with music, people, cats and scooters - so pack earplugs or get some from the pharmacy down the road. The apartment is better in real life than in photos! It’s clean, spacious and the host was excellent. My husband was recovering from surgery so we needed more pillows. We asked the host and they were delivered very quickly. I’ve stayed in many airbnb and this is definitely one of the best. I’d recommend the restaurant right at the end of the street called Ballad - it’s a peaceful oasis amongst the hectic street. The accommodation was very nice. My wife and our two dogs enjoyed our stay. The small patio made it easy to take our dogs out for their needs, and she had water with a hose that was easy to clean every day. Gulsah was friendly and always willing to help with any questions. Thank you very much.

A great find away from the tourist areas but close enough to visit. The immediate area was full of friendly locals with limited English, it was a authentic experience and the local bakery and food court we're brilliant. Would recommend to anyone

We had a fantastic stay at this beautifully restored historic home! The house is full of charm and character, with a perfect balance of spacious communal areas for everyone to enjoy and enough bathrooms to comfortably accommodate a large group. The neighborhood is stunning and well-connected, with easy access to both the old and new parts of the city via ferry and tram. Our host was incredibly attentive and responsive to all our needs, making the stay even more enjoyable. If you're traveling with a group, consider requesting extra keys for added convenience. Highly recommend this wonderful place!

We enjoyed every minute of of our stay in the house . It was so comfortable especially for a large group of people . There was a room in the first floor which was very useful for older people a bathroom and shower in the first floor . The rooms upstairs were all so spacious, very beautiful . House was a combination of modern and old which gives a nice vibe ! Denis himself was very responsive! Any time we needed to ask something he was just replying in a second . We all enjoyed our stayed ! The turkish and suna were both made our trip! I recommend this place to anyone who likes to visit the old istanbul with lots of touristic area right next to you !

We stayed in this place for six days and we had a great time. The house is in an excellent location specially for younger people. The house is as great as it is presented in the pictures and has all the utilities as described.

Alina's was very attentive, her place was roomie and comfortable. We got the experience of a local neighborhood, close to transportation and all shopping. We would stay there again.

Great detailed thinking, we stayed for a week and they thought about every single thing that anybody needed to stay. We saw comments about insect issues but faced nothing. Thanks for the cozy vibe.

This is the second time we stay with Mr. Nuri in his cozy apartment, The apartment is exactly as described, clean and comfortable, recently renovated. There are all the necessary things for a comfortable stay, including nice little things that show that Nuri is caring for its guests. The apartment is 3 minutes from the M1 light metro station and the Metrobus stop. 7 minutes from the T1 tram station, which goes directly to the center of the historic part of Istanbul. Within walking distance there is a large 3M Migros supermarket. Nuri is always available to assist you and answer any questions you may have. We had a wonderful vacation and recommend this apartment
