The village of Murnau with lots of shops and cafes can be reached in 15 minutes. by car. In winter, with good snow conditions, the groomed cross-country ski trail is within walking distance. The Zugspitz railway in Grainau can be reached in 30 minutes by car.

In addition, a natural swimming pond with a small Kneipp facility is about 1 km away and allows spontaneous refreshment at any time of the day
