Everything was excellent, the place is beautiful. And most importantly, Franc and his family are very warm, affectionate, helpful, and attentive. They made us feel like family.

Absolutely stunning! I spent two nights in this gorgeous Airbnb while visiting the Vipava Valley, and it was a perfect home base for all of my wine tasting adventures. Even more beautiful than the pictures, with elegant and thoughtful touches everywhere you look. The area is so quiet and peaceful while still being easy driving distance to wineries, great restaurants, and such attractions as the Lipica Stud Farm and Skocjan Caves. Giuseppe was lovely. He met me at the apartment, showed me everything I needed to know, and was very kind and responsive throughout my stay. I would absolutely recommend this wonderful apartment to anyone visiting the area.

At first I panicked because parking for my bulky car (Tourneo) was not the easiest. But I would go back on foot from Italy, just to spend more time at Lavendula Cottage: I have suffered from chronic insomnia for a lifetime and I managed to sleep 7 hours in a row peacefully, breakfast for me is a ritual and like Marta's there are none. Everything is impeccable and clean, in every detail there is good taste, immense care and attention that make the house a fairytale place. At Lavendula Cottage, there is an added value that cannot be classified with stars or reviews: Marta's heart, Sandro's mastery, those polite and wonderful smiles with which they welcome you and make you feel at home. A unique place, not to be missed. And just park in the square!
