Flaherty Cottage (eco ethos*)

KathrynRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
A lovely, quiet place to get away. So nice to just be able to walk down the lane and access miles of open grassland and beautiful beaches, often all to yourself. There are lots of livestock animals around so if you have a dog it will need to be on the lead but lots of scope for different walks.

Mary was very friendly and accommodating regarding check in times. Lots of car parking space. Great selection at breakfast. Microwave available for heating up meals. Quiet area and very short walk into town. Very much enjoyed my stay, thank you

Twelve Bens View

Catherine went all out to make sure I had a great stay, everything from recommending sights, offering a cup of tea after a long day's walk, to lighting a fire in the guest living room so I could relax by the fire. A great stay.

Leap Year Cottage by Lake Beaghcauneen

DianaRating, 5 stars10 months ago
The accommodation was exactly as described and in a beautiful location. It felt very remote but is only 15 mins from the coast and supermarkets in Clifden. The two extra rooms in outbuildings worked well for us as 5 adults, and there was plenty of room around the kitchen table for meals and games. The sitting room in the cottage is very cosy and only had enough room for 4 people to sit comfortably which wouldn't be ideal if you were a group of 8. That said, there are other sofas elsewhere - in the kitchen and studio. Overall, a unique property in a wonderful location which I would definitely recommend.

Clifdenbaylodge B&B sky road

AlexisRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Very good location of the B&B with a beautiful view of the ocean. The room was very nice. The hearty Irish breakfasts that we had in a small veranda were very enjoyable. Frédérique gives very good advice on visits/restaurants. 5-7 minutes' drive from Clifden and very convenient for a stay in Connemara. Frédérique also speaks French :). Great

**Riverside room in historic listed building**

Probably the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in to date. The house is stunning, location is ideal, and Pat was a fabulous host. Friendly, puts on a beautiful breakfast and can give the best recommendations in the area and beyond. If you are exploring Connemara, stay here!
