1850 Settler's Cabin in Private Forest

Our beautiful 1850 settler's log cabin is simply furnished and does not have plumbing. Electricity is powered by a honda generator. Fresh drinking water is supplied. Bathroom is a clean, private outhouse and guests have access to our centralized guest shower facility on premises from 6-9 am/pm daily. As your Bed and Breakfast host we will personally greet you and check you in and always remain on property while offering you privacy. We are designed for a quiet, peaceful rustic getaway.

Very quiet. Spacious screened porch next to Grand River! Fifteen minutes walk (less than 5 minutes drive) to downtown Fergus, 7 minute drive to downtown Elora. Note that access is down a flight of exterior stairs and unfortunately is not suited for individuals with mobility challenges.

The Victorian Apartment is located in the heart of Elora just steps away from Bissell Park and the Elora Mill. The wifi has recently been upgraded to the EERO mesh system. I am open to hosting your pets as well but they have to be medium to small (Under 30 lbs) and well mannered. During Summer 2018 we renovated an existing outbuilding on the property into a 3 bedroom cottage for guests who are visiting the Cider House and who are visiting the Hamilton area. It’s light filled and spacious and we hope you will get to spend some time with us. The cidery can be a busy spot on weekends during the summer and fall, less busy for our winter guests.
