"Quélébu Grange" cottage / retreat in Couserans

Beautiful gite/retreat situated at 800m in an old stone grange renovated with natural materials. The gite is nestled between pastures and woods with an incredible view of the Pyrenees mountains. Final access (75m) is on foot to maintain the tranquillity of the location. Immerse yourself in nature, escape the pollution of the city...come and relax! Your hosts Lee and Susie offer a 90 minute vinyasa yoga class or a 1 day introduction to handweaving course - design and weave your own fabric item.

Located outside a small, quiet hamlet (altitude 800 metres) at the end of a winding road, the south-facing barn enjoys panoramic views of the mountains, and is surrounded by fields and woods - with no vis-à-vis! Entirely renovated using ecological materials, the gîte retains all the charm and authenticity of a Pyrenean dwelling, but with all the comfort of a purpose-built gite. The barn caters to everybody – couples, solos, families with children, and walkers with their four-legged friends.

La Pauzette gîte with views of the Ariège Pyrenees

Relaxation guaranteed in this cosy and spacious accommodation located at an altitude of 900 m with a breathtaking view of the Valier mountain. The green setting will seduce you... The accommodation is fully equipped and has a private terrace. It is attached to our house but the entrance is independent. On site, there is a Nordic bath and a sauna which can be booked on the day of arrival or in advance of course but it is an additional service not included in the rental price.

Recently renovated, the decor combines rustic and modern. 180-degree view of the mountain range and Mont Valier, landscaped exteriors, walking trails and hiking trails nearby, local farmers' markets, comfortable sheepfold... Facing south, you will appreciate the calm and authentic charm of this small cottage at an altitude of 800 m.

You access the floor on an entrance hall, then on the living room with large bay windows, an equipped kitchen, a toilet/back kitchen area, living room with all modern amenities and a mezzanine for children. The lower part consists of a bathroom, 2 bedrooms with a 160 bed and one bedroom with 2x2 bunk beds

Le Playras: charming barn, panoramic view

Welcome to Playras! Come and recharge your batteries in this tiny hamlet, a little piece of heaven perched at 1100 m altitude, facing south. Stunning views of the Spanish border chain. This hamlet is made up of about fifteen old barns, each more beautiful than the last, giving it an indefinable charm! The GR de Pays (Tour du Biros) passes in front of our house. Multiple hikes possible without taking your car. We'll be happy to let you know!

Take a break and unwind in this natural environment. Cozy studio, adjoining and independent of the owners' house, outside the village of ERCE, in the peaceful hamlet of ''Les Escales''. Ideal for hiking, relaxing, enjoying the mountain. View of the "Guzet neige" resort located 20 minutes by car. Close to the Cascade d'Ars, other pretty hiking trails, the villages of AULUS-LES-BAINS with its thermal baths, OUST and SEIX.

TES – Isolated and Atypical House

Stay in a unique and charming house, nestled in the heart of the Pyrénées Ariégeoises Regional Natural Park! Accessible only on foot (about 15-20 minutes walk through a wooded path with a pronounced relief - Chemin de Chèvre), this isolated house will give you an authentic and timeless experience. Good physical condition is preferable.

IMPORTANT: Be sure to contact me before making or confirming a reservation. Regarding access, the house is at the end of a 7 km track. The first 5 km are suitable for vehicles, and the last 2 km are not suitable for vehicles. So you'll have to walk the last 2 km, about 40 minutes. Guests can park their car safely in a clearing.
