"Because the sun has left Jura in peace" Experience peace, nature and real country life in the Emmental in our cosy wooden barrel right next to the farm. Under the large maple tree, with a sweeping view over the hills, you'll find a place to unwind – especially beautiful at sunset. You can expect a lovingly furnished barrel, your own outdoor area with a table, deckchairs and a barbecue, as well as lighting. The toilet and shower are conveniently located in the stable building; clean and in keeping with the authentic farm experience.

Apartment on a small farm

We live in a beautiful place called Bühlweidli in the Bernese Oberland, in an old, renovated and sustainable farmhouse. Absolute peace and quiet, no neighbours and pure nature. We are mainly self-sufficient, and we do this biodynamically. Electricity, heating and hot water from 100% renewable energy – in both summer and winter. We try to live in harmony with nature. We would be happy to invite you here as a guest to relax (including sauna/hot tub) and, if you like, to get to know our way of life.

Time out near Lake of Thun & Emmental region

Our modern apartment offers two bedrooms (one king-size twin bed and two single beds), a bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a fully equipped kitchen. Wi-Fi, a Smart-TV, two balconies, and a seating area with a fireplace for barbecue provide comfort. Free parking is available on site as well as private entrance with keyless access (PIN code). Shopping and a bakery are a five-minute drive away. Bern, Interlaken, and the Emmental Valley are each just 30 minutes away. Pets are welcome.

This stylish place is perfect for families, couples, friends who would like to spend holidays directly on the hiking and cycling trail. Our beautiful farmhouse is absolutely quiet and idyllically located with wonderful views of the high mountains. The cottage is located on a natural road. For the access of the last 800 meters you need enough ground clearance. An SUV is an advantage. If you have another car, contact us. You can't reach us without a vehicle.

Cute storage by the pond

Unique opportunity to stay in a rustic barn by the pond. In rural surroundings, switch off from everyday life, relax and enjoy the tranquility. The barn is equipped with electricity (light, fridge, oven, hotplates, kettle, Wi-Fi). Private spring water is available directly outside the attic. A hot plate is available, including basic equipment for cooking. Separate bathroom with toilet/shower is available in the main house on the ground floor (20 meters).

This is how life is under the huge roof of a traditional Bernese house: In the spacious living room with rustic beams, images of a bygone era appear. The space, the view of the church, village and beautiful gardens inspire you and let you enjoy the tranquility and forget the noise of the world. On the large arbor (terrace) you can be pampered by the wind and sun. On a romantic spiral staircase you can reach the beds just under the gable. You’ll love it!

Our small farm in the Emmental at 1000 meters altitude, with magnificent views of the mountains, offers a 3 ½ vacation apartment. Here you can stay, experience and relax. The children can watch the animals, move around on the farm and help during chores. Or they can experience from here, the beautiful nature with hiking and bike routes. The apartment offers a nice sitting area with wooden cheminee and play area for the children.

Our farm is located between Moosegg and Emmenmatt in the middle of a beautiful and peaceful environment. The 4.5-room apartment is located in our outbuilding and offers a wonderful view. Family holidays are also a real experience with us. You can help look after our farm animals or with farm work.

Holz und Kohle stehen zur Verfügung. Für Zweiräder steht auf Wunsch ein Garagenplatz zur Verfügung.

This house offers everything you could want for a perfect vacation – unique views of the Bernese Alps, great surroundings for hiking, biking, etc. By the way: you can enjoy the great view not only from outside the house, but also from the living and dining area thanks to the large panoramic windows.

In dieser Wohnung kannst du mit deinen liebsten einfach sein. Nach einer Wanderung, dem Wassertreten im Bach, oder dem Goldwaschen. Lasse deine Seele auf der grossen Terrasse baumeln, rieche den nahen Wald, höre dem Rauschen der Bäume zu... Übrigens, in der Badewanne liegend kannst du durchs Dachfenster den Sternenhimmel entdecken. Inklusive TV und W-LAN.
