Farmstay holiday rentals in Emmental District

We loved it this time too. If you like to look for something special to stay, no luxury expected so according to the motto less is more and animal-loving is, Romana is the right place to unplug. My children liked the dogs best, the hammock and playground were also gladly used to unwind. Packing a flashlight recommended for the paths in the evening from the bathroom or kitchen to the yurt. ;-)

Evelin and Simon were really helpful and showed us everything needed to stay at the apartment. They were very friendly. The apartment had everything that is in the description. Comfortable bed and private bathroom. It is located near the couple's house and barn. We also parked our car with ease. The village is small but has a pizzeria-fast food restaurant if you want to go for a walk and eat outside. It is so beatiful and has the amazing Swiss nature surrounding it.

Looking for a quiet place to stay with that certain something, we finally spent New Year's Eve at Lamahof. Not only our dog Hope could enjoy the few days, far away from fireworks and firecrackers. My husband and I were also able to relax between wood-burning stoves, country house charm and many cheeky llamas and other farm animals. Thanks Karin and Family for the wonderful experience.

We had a great week in this lovely house. Everything was available, even coffee beans in the coffee machine. We were met by the very friendly and helpful employee who had neatly arranged the whole house and welcomed us very warmly. The house is nicely spacious and modern furnished. The balcony with direct access to the garden was really fantastic. A small downside is the fact that only one room has well blackout curtains. Since we had many sunny days, it was very light in the bedrooms early. Fortunately, there was a lot to do, so we could use those extra long days.

Spectacular location for peaceful holiday. Views are breathtaking! Great point of transfer to access all of the Alps. Cozy cabin; felt safe & slept great! Would definitely recommend.

Very beautiful location

Although the road to the apartment is a narrow mountain road with only one lane for both directions, so you need to be careful when driving, and it’s not very convenient if you’re using public transportation, I really liked this place. The host was extremely friendly and provided very detailed and accurate instructions for check-in. The house was clean and fully equipped (just missing a proper kitchen knife for slicing meat), but overall I was very satisfied.

We chose this room for a night on our honeymoon, after our visit to Lucerne. A gorgeous room with panoramic views of the lush green meadow! We really enjoyed it! it had everything we needed, the bed was extremely comfortable and the dry toilet wasn't difficult at all. Susanne and her 3 sweet little boys gave us the warmest welcome. They even left us a welcome card with words in our language- it's the little things that often make a difference and show interest and effort! The absence of the shower definitely makes it impossible to stay for many days, but even so it was a great accommodation choice and we highly recommend it!

Beautiful apartment and surroundings!!!! Loved the tour around the farm, played with some baby goats. Simea and Beda are awesome and friendly, very helpful as well. We tried their farm eggs, milk, cheese and apple cider- everything was beyond exceptional. Pristine cleanliness, nice furniture and fully equipped kitchen!

This place is amazing for families with young kids ( 1 to 13 years). The concept is great and so is the view. The house is very tastefully made & the host is kind and helpful. I highly recommend it for families looking for a unique getaway.

The friendliest hosts I’ve met, always with a smile. Appreciate the warm welcome+the welcome gift. Vreni made a huge effort using google translate to communicate with us. Accommodation is as described with beautiful views, lot of equipment including a fondue set + many toys. There was sugar, coffee, salt, pepper, oil and couple more essential condiments in the kitchen which was nice to have. Towels and bed linen was provided and the place is well heated. Recommend having a car though since it’s a little away from the main bus route. There’s a covered garage for the car. All of us enjoyed the fresh cows milk Vreni left for us every morning and we all felt quite at home. You do get the smell of the cowshed in the entryway but if you keep the main door closed then there’s no smell inside the house, so this never bothered us. We also liked the farmhouse vibe and our little boy was excited to see and feed the cows. Thanks Vreni for your amazing hospitality. We can’t wait to be back!

Sonya and her family are extraordinarily personable and very warm. We felt very comfortable. Our children loved the animals on the farm and played a lot with the lovely children of the family. Sonya told us a lot about the farm and about the animals. Our kids were even able to help with milking. The apartment is great and spacious. Everything you need is there. It was very clean and well maintained. The view is amazing. We really enjoyed the stay and would be happy to come back!

We loved our stay at this secluded cottage, with an absolutely amazing view of the Bernese Alps – a real slice of timeless paradise. The apartment is super warm and comfortable, and the wood stove creates a magical atmosphere while heating the whole place perfectly. It was just what we were looking for to relax in peace. The chateau was very clean and comfortable. Albrecht was great at communicating and answered any questions in a very timely manner. The chateau is a little bit of a walk (20 mins as described on Air bnb) from the grocery store and small village but we loved the quiet and privacy. The chateau was stocked with spices and other basic necessities.

This was truly one of our best Airbnb experiences yet! The apartment was absolutely beautiful—spotless, cozy, and filled with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. The kitchen was a highlight, fully equipped and even had a cheese fondue set, which made for such a fun and authentic Swiss experience. Isenfluh is the perfect place to be in the Alps if you want breathtaking views and peaceful surroundings without being surrounded by crowds of tourists. It felt like a hidden gem, and we’re so glad we found it. This was an unforgettable experience, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Huge thanks to our wonderful host for making everything so seamless and special. Highly, highly recommend!

My wife and I have already spent our sixth vacation with Rafael in Krattigen. We also enjoyed this stay very much. We will be happy to come back to Krattigen in the future.

I am left speechless. Ursula’s place is less like an airbnb and more like a resort. The apartment is spotless, everything looks brand new and she has been so considerate of every single thing you could need. From welcome chocolates, to tea, coffee, baking accessories, baby chair/cot, there is not anything that we could have asked for that wasn’t already in the apartment or available on request. Highly recommended stay in a beautiful location. Easily my favorite airbnb experience.

Where do I start? The apartment is VERY nice, has everything we needed in the kitchen, has wonderful linens and beds, and large soft bath towels. There is a spectacular view with large windows to show it off. I got sick and needed a doctor. Kate found one open late in Luzern. Not only did she help me locate it, but she drove me, translated for me, waited, and brought me back to the apartment. I loved getting to know Kate and talk about travels on our doctor adventure. She is kind, helpful, and the perfect host. The location was also perfect because we had a car. It was easy to drive to Zurich in one direction and Lauterbrunnen in the other. Luzern is also gorgeous and shouldn't be missed. Stunning! Thank you, Kate! You were the best!

Very friendly uncomplicated reception. Good and useful infrastructure. Close to the ski resort. Cozy apartment; you feel right at home here! You can spend really good vacation days with Roland and Martina. Conclusion: highly recommended!

Everything was tiptop. Clean, kitchen well-equipped, the mattresses very comfortable. It's a narrow mountain road to the house. For this, secluded in nature and wonderfully quiet. We will be happy to come back.
