In summer: hiking in the forests and fields, hunting and fishing and Sorknes Golf. Swimming at Rena camping (city center) or in beautiful Osensjøen 40 min away. Veslekoia - Grandma's Cottage

Veslekoia (1963) is a nostalgic, animal-friendly and sheltered 39 square metre cabin on Løtenfjellet. The cabin has solar power that is mostly sufficient to charge phones. There is cell phone coverage on site. There is no running water in the cabin. Water jugs can be filled at a water post along the road, about 2 kilometers from the cottage, close to Budor Gjestegård and the alpine slope. The cabin has a fireplace in the living room and a traditional wood stove in the kitchen. In the outhouse there is an outhouse and woodshed. There is a year-round road to the cabin.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful residence. Cabin in an unobstructed location on Flishøgda in Elverum municipality, about 30 km from Elverum city center, towards Trysil. Great hiking terrain right by the cabin both summer and winter. Five minutes to Lake Osensjøen with convenience store, swimming facilities and trampolines. Three bedrooms, two with double bed and one with family bunk. Bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. Wood-fired sauna in the courtyard. Well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher. Internet, not TV but lots of games.

The house is located on the east side of Osensjøen with nice views and easy access to the sea where there is a pier with a lot of sun and the opportunity for fishing and swimming. The area around Osensjøen has good opportunities for hiking and biking in the summer and skiing on prepared trails in the winter. About a half hour drive to Trysilfjellet which is Norway's largest ski center with lots of slopes and lovely ski tracks Here there are also lots of adapted bike paths for all ages as well as many other activities in the summer.

Hiking trails just outside your doorstep. Short distance to fishing water and beach. 14 km to the shop, 18 km to the center of Trysil. The dog is welcome.

The cabin originates from the manual forestry industry occurring on the property in the past. The cabin is thoughtful and simply decorated and equipped with all the essentials for relaxed and wonderful time in the forest. Cabin 49 m2, two bedrooms, bathroom, kitchenette, living room with dining table and sofa as well as sofa bed for two. 70 km to Trysil. 8 km to Elverum city center with, among other things, the Forest Museum. Not far to golf course, go-karting. Refrigerator, dishwasher, stove and microwave. Freezer can be used. Sleeps 5 people. Not allowed with animals. Bring bed linen and towels or you can rent for NOK 75 per person.

The farm is about a 15 minute drive by car to the city, Elverum. A grocery store is about 13 minutes away. You should have a car to stay with us. You will find an operating farm, with tractor driving at times but also silence, nature, trees, fields and forest as neighbors. Occasionally you can see moose and deer on the land. Occasionally, it's the northern lights!
