The view is indeed spectacular, what a way to meet sunrise in Ella! The hosts are incredible, very lovely and welcoming. Definitely recommend this place!

This Airbnb is lovely. I really liked the interior and the view from the balcony. Breakfast was nice too!

Very nice place. The room as in the photos, in front of the room hammocks and sun loungers, you can relax looking at the beautiful mountains. Ishari and her son Vaneesah are lovely, they are happy to tell you what to see. Vaneesaha picked us up from the station, gave us a great tour of Ella the next day, a day later he drove us to Udawalawe for a Safari, which he also arranged for us. Delicious breakfasts, great communication, and the best front desk guy-pee Bruno ❤️

A true retreat, nestled in the mountains. think stunning views, tranquility, wild peacocks and monkeys,but not a handy location to sight see from. Map was misleading and Haputhale is an hour away. Rooms are simple with delightful antiques. Staff are very courteous but have very limited English. Food was simple and delicious Sri Lankan cuisine. Make sure you book meals in advance. They kindly arranged a delicious birthday cake for us. Beautiful gardens with architectural features everywhere, lovely views, good swimming pool but lacking any comfortable seating. A truly unique place to get away from modern life.

Wow! We absolutely loved our stay here. The breakfast (included) was delicious and filling. The view is beautiful, the bed super comfy and cosy, the room was lovely and cool and the surroundings/area was so peaceful and beautiful. We ended up extending our stay! Super walkable into the town too, with loads of cafes and restaurants nearby. Lovely hosts & beautiful place, can’t recommend enough, would definitely book again.

We had a wonderful few days at Hill Safari, the staff took excellent care of us, very attentive and respectful. We enjoyed the fantastic views whilst sipping tea after enjoyable walks. The meals are freshly prepared and very tasty. The staff assisted us plan activities, informing us of local walks, including Pekoe Trails 11 and 12, which can be accessed from Hill Safari. Horton Plains is a short tuk tuk ride away. Hill Safari is quite remote, everything you need is provided, so if you want a peaceful place to spend time in nature, this is an ideal place for you.

Accomodation was clean and relatively close to the city center. It was also close to Nine arch bridge. The host was very nice and friendly. He prepared wonderful breakfast each morning, which I could enjoy with the beautiful view.

Stephen - the manager's team is excellent , helpful and friendly. They made us at home with their hospitality, conversations and food. A very special place of quietness and tranquility. Met and conversed with some interesting guests as well. It is like a family. Feels like a place run out of love than s business. A memorable stay for us. Will return.

The best thing about the apartment was definitely the balcony and the amazing view — absolutely beautiful! The room was clean and comfortable, and communication with the staff was great. They were really friendly and very attentive and accommodating, always making sure we had everything we needed. The location is up the mountain, but it’s only about a 10-minute walk or you can easily take a tuk-tuk. It’s also super close to the town center, so everything is within reach. Definitely a great stay!

Totally recommend coming here! The family were so kind and helpful. The home cooked food was some of the best of our whole trip! They helped us to organise tours to Horton plains, Lipton seat and diyaluma waterfall. They also picked us up and dropped us at the train station which was really kind. We really enjoyed staying here and would stay here again.

We had a great time. The accommodation is perfectly located for hiking, and has fabulous hosts who provided us great advice on the different hikes. Would definitely recommend.
