Beautiful meadows, forest, springs, creek and pond. Pet friendly. We love doggy visitors! Hike all over the farm, nearly 200 acres, and surrounding area. Enjoy the fire pit. Have a really large group? Add Sunrise Cottage and Meadows, also on the farm. Or Middleside Farmhouse, likewise on the farm.

River Hill Hideaway is a cozy place of respite from the whirlwind called life. You can fish for bass, catfish and sunfish in the pond, or relax on the deck and listen to the river (if you can hear it over the crickets and frogs). The Little River (a trout stocked stream) bends just around the back of the property and you are welcome to fish there or enjoy the swimming hole. Be sure to get a NC fishing license if you plan to fish in the Little River.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space looking out into the pasture and woodlands at deer passing through, cows looking in and other wildlife. And there really is quite a lot of bluebirds and finch to see in the spring and summer! Expect the coziness of the fireplace to wrap around you in the cool of the fall and snow of the winter. Nestled in a high mountain meadow just above the New River, this 750 square foot cabin has plenty of amenities and nearly 20 acres for your own private Idaho...there are marked and cleared hiking trails...look for the entrance post to the left "1285."
