Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Elizabethtown

Dan’s Airbnb was very comfortable, clean, spacious, and it felt like home for our family. We truly enjoyed the back deck of the house, the king bed in the master bedroom, spacious kitchen with everything we needed to prepare our meals. We very much enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, hiking the adjacent trails and being in the middle of nature was awe inspiring! Great place Dan! You helped to make our week very enjoyable. This was my second stay here and never disappoints! The place is always clean, with wonderful amenities and the host goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. I Would definitely continue coming.

We traveled here from Nashville with our three teenagers for a quick visit to Kentucky Kingdom! Our son, 18yo, claimed the basement as his personal chill pad, while the two teen girls chose the "twin beds" room located on the top floor. Us parents ended up choosing the cozy bottom bedroom facing the backyard. We all appreciated having our personal spaces at the end of a busy day! Honestly, though, when we first walked in, I was blown away to see original home details that are usually ditched with older home remodels. The doors and doorknobs, the wood framing around the doors and windows, the wood flooring, THE FIREPLACE... all lovingly rescued! I lost count with how many times I said I wished we could find a gem like this. The parking area behind the house, down a quiet alleyway, was very well-lit and felt extremely safe. Also, for us, we did not experience ANY concerning noise disturbances, or witness anything nefarious.😉 Thank you, Luke & Katie! We enjoyed your charming home

This home was very relaxing and comfortable.

We throughly enjoyed David's home. It in a peaceful neighborhood with a great backyard! We used the kitchen alot during our stay and it had everything we needed! The laundry amenities were also very convenient with detergent and stain remover provided. David was very responsive and understanding! We absolutely hope to stay here again!

We had an incredible stay at Alison’s place. The location was perfect, offering stunning views of the lake and unforgettable sunsets each evening. Waking up to that beautiful landscape every day was a true highlight. Alison was exceptionally responsive and made communication effortless. The house itself was spotless, cozy, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway.

Comfortable home with floor to ceiling windows with breathtaking views of the Ohio River. This secluded home and outdoor deck helped us relax immediately!! Shane/Leigh Ann helped when we had questions; and communication was great. We were allowed to bring our little Cavachon dog and he was as relaxed as we were. This is the second home we have rented with Shane. Going back to this home in September and we’ll make reservations for next Spring. Thank You, Shane!! Great Stay! Very affordable as well

This little spot was PERFECT! Suitable for two and was just what we needed for our (unfortunately too quick) Kentucky trip! Easy access to the cute little spot with garage parking if needed. The host was extremely friendly and accommodating which we were so grateful for!

Annette was so helpful! I accidentally forgot a load of laundry in the dryer after I checked out. She was quick to reach out and let me know before I drove too far away!

The place is in great location. And quiet

I highly recommend this location for distance to Mammoth Cave, Dinosaur World, Kentucky Down Under and restaurants. Yet it is private and serene. Playground out back, swings around the fire pit and friendly little barn cats. We had everything we needed! Our hosts were very friendly and helpful!

Sharon and Jason’s rental was just what we needed for extra guests for my mom’s birthday celebration!

Centrally located, great location, Golden Corral next door. Lower level apartment. Friendly neighbors. Kroger and many restaurants nearby. Comfortable and clean. Decorative heater/ fireplace unexpected surprise. Lightning fast internet. Good communication with host. Recommended. Will return on next family visit.

Marrianna was a wonderful host and great with communication. She was able to accommodate our late check in and was helpful with recommendations and making sure we didn't need anything. The house was as described and we appreciated that it was so reasonably priced. We'd stay here again if we're in the area.

This was our second stay at the Alexander hotel, and it certainly won’t be our last! We love staying here when visiting family in Grayson county.
