We had a fantastic time. The villa is stunning and had just been freshly renovated. Everything about it is designed to maximize the beautiful views, the airflow, peace and tranquility. The hosts were communicative, kind and generous with flexible check-in and out. The fantastic pool area, stonework, bathrooms, kitchen, linens, sauna/steamroom, washer & dryer, game room -- all were top quality. This was easily the most beautiful AirBnb we have ever stayed in. It was a good home base for exploring Crete. We were also happy to save one day for relaxing at the villa. We were only a family of four, and the villa could have easily held twice as many. Would love to return one day. Made wonderful memories here.

Absolute 5* property and host ! Cant recommend this property enough! Absolutely stunning upon arrival, the property exceeded our expectations even from the pictures ! Alexios is a fantastic host, made us feel welcome straight away and showed us all the details on the property, his local Taverna recommendations were great too ! Provided us with a lovely welcome basket with Local olive oil and wines etc. We couldn’t fault the property at all, stunning design and finishes, absolutely everything you would want for a stay in beautiful Crete. Wished we could have stayed longer in Alexios property, you cant get bored of sitting on the roof terrace or in the pool looking at that view! Some local Tavernas within walking distance that are very nice and worth a visit. Highly recommend this property and Alexios as a host ! We will be back to stay again for sure. 5*

We loved it!! Here's how we felt about this place we stayed in for almost 2 weeks: * Positive points: - Location with magnificent view. -The house is superb (although we had some technical problems that Giorgos handled immediately) we enjoyed the pool and the sunsets - small grocery store 100 m away, taverns and shops in the village - home delivery service appreciated for large shopping trips - the cleaning staff are discreet and very pleasant *Negative points: - downstairs bedroom less spacious than in the photos - not enough hangers for clothes - car required for visits and walks In conclusion, we recommend this accommodation for those who like the wild side of Crete, note that the nearest town is 40 minutes away if you want to go out.

this is a great Villa to stay at in central Crete that made it easy to branch off to many other areas of the island the best part was the Villa itself with its swimming pool and the views. great place to stay close to the small village of margarite. highly recommend it's got to be one of the best places to stay in all of Crete. Michalis was a great representing host.

The Villa is absolutely stunning it had everything you could possibly want, very clean and spacious with all quality modern fixtures and fittings throughout. My children especially loved the pool and hot tub which were cleaned throughout the week. The area was nice and peaceful very close to the beach, had restaurants and a super market within walking distance. About a 10 minute cab ride to plenty more bars and restaurants. The host was lovely very welcoming, she was there to meet us on arrival, was very approachable always contactable and very knowledgeable about the local area. The host couldn’t do enough for you even stocking the fridge with some essential groceries which I thought was very nice touch. Even brought us a handmade gift when we were leaving which was so thoughtful. Would definitely use this Villa again and would recommend to anyone.

We traveled with friends and babies (a total of 4 adults and 2 babies (8&10 months old)) to the villa to Savas & Maria and the villa was fantastically beautiful (even more beautiful than in the photos)! For our tour group, the villa was just perfect, we had our peace, could relax and the children had enough space to play on the giant terrace. Savas & Maria kindly provided everything necessary for our kids (crib, baby chairs, a small inflatable pool and plenty of toys). Cleanliness is very important in the villa, the villa was handed over to us in perfect condition! The villa was rounded off in the evening by the overwhelming sunsets! Savas & Maria were extremely communicative, gave us great recommendations and were always available! We would like to express our sincere thanks again for your warmth, hospitality and a fantastic stay! If we come back to Crete, we'll come back to you!

The house and views were beautiful. An out of the ordinary sandstorm rolled in and the owner immediately came to clean the outdoor area. She was very responsive and attentive. The house had everything we needed to cook breakfast. There are very few walkable places, but if you have a car, it is no problem. We would return, it was perfect for our group of 6.

Wonderful Experience at the Villa Elias! Our stay at the villa was perfect. The sea view was breathtaking, especially during sunset – a true sense of calm, quiet, and complete privacy. Choosing this villa was an excellent decision, especially because of the heated pool, which the kids absolutely loved. They enjoyed both swimming and playing in the spacious garden. The villa is well-equipped, with many useful items that made our stay very comfortable, including an air pump for pool toys. The location is also great – close to shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful villa! The house is truly luxurious, in perfect condition, and tastefully designed with great attention to detail. The layout of the rooms is simply brilliant — spacious, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing and spending quality time together. The heated pool was one of our favorite features — always at the perfect temperature to cool down and unwind at any time of the day. The location couldn’t be better: just a few minutes’ walk to the beach, where you’ll find plenty of great restaurants, cafes, and shops. A very special thank you to our amazing hosts! We had a fantastic stay at this villa - it was the perfect place for our family trip and we felt instantly at home. The villa is in a stunning location, with incredible sea views. Incredible stay, stunning villa, lovely to walk into the little town, and a brand new restaurant opened called ‘Dusk’ a few minutes walk away which was 11/10. We adored the hot tub, luxury, all the little touches. Juicer for fresh orange juice and funky toaster. Thank you Crete is exquisite 💖💖💖

This is a 10/10 Villa. We have travelled a lot and this is by far the best Villa we have stayed in. We were a family of 9 (5 adults and 4 children aged 2, 4, 9 and 11). The views are stunning, the pool is big, all the rooms have private bathroom. Jacuzzi is also perfect for when the sun goes down! Theo was a wonderful host helping us, giving good recommendations and suprising as with some nice gestures. This Villa really is a Gem as the name suggests. As for the surroundings - it is 100% private! For me the best part was that there is a nice local village to walk to every night. There are some amazing Tavernas/Restaurants with delicious food and reasonable prices (also a mini-market). There is also a nice beach with a good restaurant and a nice cozy beach bar - it is only a 10 minute walk from the villa. And if you rent a car then it is a 10 minute ride to the Rethymnon old town, which is also a very nice place with lots of shops and restaurants. The Villa was worth every euro!

We had a wonderful stay at this stunning villa. So tranquil, we all loved it. It was well designed and we had everything we needed for our nine day stay. The owners were very quick to respond to a couple of queries we had. One of the best Airbnb we have stayed at. We will definitely be back

A fantastic house with wonderful sea views and all the comforts! Tastefully decorated with good quality both indoors and outdoors. Very private location without visibility. Lovely balcony with pool, parasols and outdoor furniture. We were personally received in the house at the appointed time and were given a tour of the house and all its features, as well as a basket of specialties from Crete. Walking distance about 5-10 minutes to Plakias with shops and restaurants. The only thing we wished for was a few more hooks to hang clothes on.

I have stayed at 50+ AirBnbs across the world, and I can honestly say the hospitality we received here was the best I have ever experienced. This villa is exceptional, and the photos don’t do it justice. We stayed for a week or so with a young family, and had a blast. Alexandros and his family are lovely people, and tended to our every need. I cannot recommend this villa highly enough.

Villa Marae was the perfect place for our family holiday. The villa was really modern, spacious and had a luxury feel. All amenities were great and we had no problems. The management company along with Maria and her dad (the owners) were incredibly hospitable and were always on the end of the phone if we had any questions. They did a pre-arrival shop for us, organised our airport transfers and had a full concierge service. Every room was great (no room that was worse than any others) and all had en suite bathrooms. Location is good as it’s so close to the beach where you can watch the sunset (1 minute walk) and access beach bars and a local taverna. Would highly recommend and we would love to revisit!

We had a great stay in this amazing villa. The villa is located in a high,quiet and green area 25 minutes from the city of Rathminoon. The villa is equipped with everything a family needs for a week. The space was beautiful and super clean. Maria is a great host with a big heart,recommended restaurants and hikes in the area. We were provided with olive oil,pomegranates , extra proximity and everything we asked for. It is a great place for a relaxing family vacation. The pool is clean and beautiful, the hot tub is hot and pampering for cool days.

Absolutely amazing place to stay the villa is exactly like the photos. Went on a family holiday and we all had a fantastic time good and so relaxed. good sized pool and food temperature and loved sitting in the jacuzzi watching the sunset. nice chilled area to sit in the evening with a firepit. outside sitting area is great for all meal times and inside very clean and great size bedrooms and even got a cleaning service 1/2 way thought the holiday which was Amazing with fresh bedsheets and towels. Very child friendly and the kids had the bestest time. The local coffee shop in the village which is a 5 mins drive has a soft play area which was great to get a coffee and kids play. Margarita was very helpful and was a super host and even made us a homemade moussaka which was delicious and always there if we need any questions answered. Would highly recommend and we definitely rebook if I came back to Crete specially if you want to have a chilled private holiday. Thank you very much
