The cottage features a private front and back entrance, large backyard, and woodburning fireplace. Our hope is that The Driftless Retreat is just that, a retreat away from the every day. The Aberdeen features 2 bedrooms, both with queen beds, 1 bathroom, and an open concept living room and kitchen, perfect for gathering! This lower level apartment sleeps up to 4 people and is steps away from the main street attractions. This unit also features a washer/dryer along with backyard access and one off-street parking spot under the carport. The Aberdeen is a short 25 minute drive from Rochester, 30 minute drive from Winona, and a short 10 minute drive to Whitewater State Park.

The Hygge (pronounced hyoo·guh) House is a tiny taste of Scandinavia in Southeastern Minnesota. What is Hygge? In short, it's a Scandinavian way of living that focuses on hunkering down and creating a safe, comforting and warm place to while away. My husband and I hand built the Hygge House with your comfort in mind. We love being cozy and having space to spend together so when the opportunity arose to renovate our studio, we wanted to share it!

During one episode, an old grain bin was moved and repurposed into a home and from that Bin There, Done That was born. Here you will find a place to relax and refresh, a farming community surrounded by nature, good eateries, and local artisans.
