great place near Monemvasia, neat and close to restaurants

The flat is pleasant, spacious and generously equipped. We were a party of three, and the sofa bed for the third person, in the living room, was as good as a full bed. The location is tricky to find, but very quiet, and perfect as a base for touring the Mani peninsula. Also, a real bonus is that there’s a very good taverna, Matula, within easy walking distance.

Amazing stay, the room is all the same as the photos and even better. Quiet surroundings with a huge balcony to relax and enjoy the sea. Five minutes from Monevasia, pharmacy and tavern right next door. The oven underneath (the owner's) had fresh produce every morning and generally very good quality. You must visit

Great stay. Beautiful sea view and pleasant terrace for a spotless apartment and consistent with the photos. Sandy beach 5 min drive. The very lively small town of Gytheio is a good starting point to visit Mystra, Nonemvassia and the Magne Peninsula. Good tips from our host for restaurants and small treats as a gift on arrival. Mrs. Katerina was very friendly. The room was great with its lovely yard in the trees that both in the morning and at night offered moments of relaxation. Very close to the port for Elafonisos. Of course I would go back and highly recommend it.

Excellent 3-night stay at Vasiliki's. Good starting point for visiting Monemvassia and Laconia. Very cute, quiet accommodation. 2 air conditioners very useful in the middle of summer Ideal for 3. Positive points: the parking space, a supermarket 100 m away and the very pleasant beach facing the rock of Monemvassia. To reach the walled city, you can walk there in 30 minutes or go to the parking lot after the bridge and finish the route on foot (15 minutes). Thanks to Vasiliki for hosting us!

We stayed at Niki's for a week in September. The accommodation is very welcoming, cared for, has everything you need... even more. Niki came to wait for us at the port and made herself available for any need but without being intrusive. What can I say... we had a great time and hope to be back soon!

Beautiful, modern, beachfront property in an amazing location! My husband, nine-year-old son, and I had a wonderful time staying here. The rental consists of the left side of the building, which turned out to be very private and spacious. The wifi is the best we’ve experienced on our trip thus far, really good A/C, very clean accommodations. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

we closed the house,at a very affordable price,with the aim to visit the volcano. it was quite close to our destination. very nice house,with nice view due to being on a mountain. in the evening we did not even have to turn on the air conditioner came nice cool from the window and we talked about hot days,with high temperatures. the only disadvantage of the point,was the many uphill and road in many places,with rotors,wanted attention. parking was as an amenity, tk they did not let us get off,but the word was found. generally very nice room especially and in relation to the price. several things available, we accommodated a nice. and a nice place to stay some that wanted to visit the light and combine the sea!

This place was the best option on the island and it was worth waiting for it. Enrico, Federico and their staff were amazing hosts Unbelievable help with many friendly people that they sent us, the house has everything you need (except wifi, which you don't really need :) and we would love coming back!

The house was comfortable and peaceful, matching perfectly with the village of Kyparissi. Triantafyllia was really helpful both before and during our visit. It was a special place to stay.

Petro is such friendly and welcoming guy and his apartment is the perfect place to stay on Elafonisos! Waking up with the harbour just in front & watching the sun rise on the spacious terrace was the perfect start into each single day!! Then walking to the bakery in the morning or to one of all these nice local restaurants in the evening… easy going. Just like everything else on this island! Will definitely come back and hopefully Petro’s place will be free!

The house is spacious, comfortable and very clean, with large livable terraces and a comfortable parking space. Georgia was very kind, she welcomed us by making us find wine, oranges and a homemade dessert and helped us find a backpack we had forgotten in Mistras: it was a treasure. If we were to go back to Gytheio, we would definitely go back to you.

Only spent 1 night here, but liked the place very much. Fabulous views all around, lots of space inside, easy communication. Would book again on priority when I get back to this region outside of summer.

The house is simply beautiful! Very spacious, very clean, with a well-stocked kitchen, and a beautiful sea view. Alexandros' mom is very helpful, she provided us with useful information about the area and was super hospitable (our girls loved the ice cream and fruit she gave us!). It was an immense pleasure to spend a few days in this house and we recommend this experience to anyone. We will remember the huge terraces overlooking the sea (three terraces!) and the bathtub with sea view.

Agis place in Gythio was exactly what we were looking for in the most perfect location. The property is clean and tidy and very comfortable it had everything you needed and nothing you didn’t. and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All the restaurants, bars and shops are conveniently conveniently located right outside the door and the property at a very impressive view of the square and the port. One area where improvements could be made is with the showers which very low water pressure and in need of updating but it certainly made no impact on our enjoyment of our stay Agis a very helpful host and it’s always available to answer questions any time. He kindly also provided a barbecue which we had requested in advance but never got to use. I would highly recommend this property for anybody looking for accommodation in Gythio
