Loved the view it's been wonderful time and everything was so clean so quite place never hear any lauds which is not easy to find in cairo

I had a wonderful stay. The host is very responsive to our requests. He often check in with us. The place is comfortable and has everything that he advertised. It was easy for uber to find his address. However, the location is not ideal. It is not in walking distance to any shops or restaurants. The area can be very dark at night time but I do not feel unsafe.

Cairo is a complex and fascinating city. Celine’s apartment is in a once very fashionable area with grand bourgeoisie houses from the early 20C , Embassy’s and institutions like the French Institute (the gardens and buildings of which the apartment overlooks) and The American university etc. But in what seems typical cairo fashion, time and fashions have moved on and it is now a shadow of its former glory but still a vibrant and really interesting and convenient area to be in. There are small shops , market stalls and places to eat very close and yet the apartment is quiet and very peaceful. It is also spacious and well laid out with two sitting rooms and a dining room and the two large double bedrooms. Celine herself was always prompt and helpful to requests for information or help . Coming from Madrid and arriving at the apartment in the middle of the night , I found the entrance and stairway was a bit of a shock , but once inside the apartment it was very reassuringly homely.

The apartment is very spacious, with a nice atmosphere. The building itself is old but charming, with 2 elevators. There is a busy street in front of the building, take that into account (what part of Cairo isnt busy though?!). The owner is very kind and quick to respond. All and all we enjoyed our time in this apartment, which is well suited for a family of 6, and very well located and near many main attractions of Cairo.

The apartment is as described located in a quiet downtown area. It’s clean and cosy. Apartment is completely self contained and Mohammed is a great host.

The place is in a good location, although the surrounding area is very clean, the interior of the house is also very clean and well equipped.The lack of the United States and China is that there is a mosque next to the house. Every morning, the loudspeaker will wake people up. In addition, the wifi speed is particularly slow, these two things are worth paying attention.

Beautiful place if you’re looking for vintage Cairo vibes. If you’re seeking modern, this isn’t for you but if you want a central location and experience an old classic Cairo vibe, this is a nice place
