Zeinab is one of the nicest women I have ever met. I stayed with her for a month and have really enjoyed it. She invited me to events and has invited me to come celebrate the start of Ramadan with her family, which is very special for me. I would definitely recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Cairo. The apartment was lovely, with a calming style perfect for unwinding after a busy day. The location was very convenient, with a grocery shop less than 8 minutes away, smaller shops for essentials like bread and water around the corner, and a nearby market with fresh vegetables. The bakery close by is also highly recommended! Communication with Axelle was smooth and friendly. A small note: some of her personal belongings are in the apartment, so there’s slightly less space for your items, but it’s well-organized and didn’t bother us at all. Like many guests, we needed a moment to figure out the shower. The water pressure is a bit lower than we’re used to but works fine once you get the hang of it. The WiFi worked perfectly, and the Chromecast was a nice extra, it made relaxing after a long day easy. The apartment is great for staying cool in summer, though it might be harder to heat in winter. Overall, highly recommend it!

The host is very helpful and the experience was pretty smooth. I loved the place itself and the amenities are very hard to come by in Cairo! The area itself is pretty nice. I loved that it was so close to downtown and a lot of the museums. Would definitely stay here again!

I had a very comfortable stay at Sean's flat in Garden City. Both Sean and Wael (who manages the flat in Cairo) were very responsive throughout my stay. The flat is spacious and it has an excellent location by the Nile in the centre of the city, walking distance to a metro station and many wonderful sights. Plenty of cafés and restaurants around too. Despite the central location, it is a very quiet flat so you are guaranteed a good night sleep! Well recommended!

I spent in total 5 beautiful days at Zoe’s apartment in the Garden City. She is a very attentive and caring host. Both her and her partner Umar acted very nicely throughout and really helpful. Will miss Tata, the dog - the sweetest creature (loves to bark but I think it the way to socialize, did not bother me at all). I am really sensitive to mattresses in the places I don’t know and here had very comfortable sleep. Garden city is the great neighborhood to stay if you visit Cairo for the first time - convenient to reach and felt super safe even at night.

I can’t recommend Assile & her brother enough. They are very responsive & helpful hosts, and have a beautiful apartment in the heart of Garden City. I counsel everyone to staying in Cairo to choose them—you won’t be disappointed !

I stayed with Mahomoud and would absolutely recommend his place to anyone. the neighborhood is perfect for a beautiful and authentic stay in cairo. the place is just meters from multiple "ahwas" (popular Egyptian street cafes) and Mahmoud will happily point you in the direction of the best restaurants in the area. The place is walking distance to beautiful tahrir square, the metro (which is efficient and can get you anywhere in cairo), sayeda Zeinab (a popular food, market and shopping district), many of the language academies etc... Mahmoud is very responsive and a great host that really goes the extra mile with recommendations to make the trip extra special.

The building is guaranteed by the housekeeper with great safety. The apartment is well equipped satisfying your daily life. My hotel experience was excellent by all accounts. From the first I walked in, I noticed the cleanliness and high ranking in every detail. The bed is fresh and very comfortable, providing me with a calm and relaxing sleep. The bathroom is so clean and the whole furniture is new, it's like you're still in a place just opened. I asked about the hotel and they told me that they were only 15 days open — and that explains it all: attention, equipment, and cleanliness. Its location behind the Kempinski Hotel means close to everything and quiet at the same time. We stayed at the apartment for three nights. Everything went well. There is a guardian in the building to help you out with anything (moving in/removing garbage). The building itself is old but the apartment is very nice as on the pictures. For someone who has never visited Cairo before, you will need ear plugs to sleep as Cairo drivers communicate by singals all the time 😅 but in the afternoon it is not annoying. Cairo is noisy, be ready :) There is 1 big bathroom and 2 smalls. There is no bathtub, however the showers are in each bathroom, so if not used to having water all over the flour, it is possible to use one as shower and the other like the WC. (Sorry for the detail but seemed important to notify). The air conditioner is in every room, with fans available as well. It is a great place, really! The beds are all comfy; the TV internet is fast through Wi-Fi. There is a local market near the metro station, and we could eat for 2 days for only 15 bucks. Shukran Beshoy and the tea
