I can't say enough good things about our stay at Houseboat65. I was there with five other folks - a couple & their two kids (8 & 11) and another single person. We had the three apartments on the second floor — perfect. I got lucky and slept in a gorgeous three-room space surrounded by windows, which filled the room with light. We spent a lot of time on the Nile-facing porches, chatting and having cocktails. It felt like our own little slice of calm and peace in busy Cairo. Jerome and the amazing Marie (we love you, Marie!) were beyond responsive: anything we needed (and that wasn't much: these spaces are well-stocked) or any time we needed assistance with luggage, etc., they were there in a flash. Marie served as our driver and top-notch tour guide for two days and wow - we felt so comfortable and well-taken care of. She knows the city so well and didn't hesitate to take us to some very far-flung locations. We can't WAIT to tell our friends about our stay and hope we get to come back!

I couldn’t have asked for a better host for arriving in cairo. The apartment was absolutely beautiful and the vibe between the people staying there was homely and friendly. Shorouk made us feel so welcome from the first minute. She introduced us to her friends and treated us like one of her own. This allowed us the proper local experience. My whole trip shaped itself the way it did because of her hospitality and open heart. I will forever be grateful for this time and what it brought to me. Yousif is a great host! He was very kind and patient with me. Also super interesting guy in general. The room looks just like the photos!

I really enjoyed my stay. From the start, Zoé and Omar were super sweet and accommodating, making sure I felt right at home. The apartment is exactly as pictured, cozy, spacious and peaceful. The neighbourhood is very central, yet quiet. The real highlight was of course Princess Batatis/Tata, who’s just the sweetest dog. I can’t recommend Zoé’s place enough, I’ll absolutely be back next time I’m in the city!

Maie’s place is spacious, bright, comfortable and in a good location close to Tahir square and some great local markets. Maie is a friendly, warm host and we recommend her place.

We enjoyed our stay here, you are sorround by bakeries and some restaurants, we moved mostly in uber and because of the location the travel times and costs where pretty low. The place is really nice and big.

A host deserves the highest rating and a very comfortable, beautiful, clean and tidy apartment.

The apartment is in a pretty safe neighborhood, and it’s a short uber ride to Zamalek. Safaa’s communication was just superb, and gave us so many tips about traveling during the New Year’s Eve.

Asmaa is a great host. She communicated well and helped me to adjust with the place and surrounding. She even baked me a cake! The apartment is nice, clean, secured and has everything I need for a long stay. Additionally, it is located near several tourist icons, such as Abdeen palacee Egyptian museum.
