Monthly Rentals in El Remate

We had a a great stay at the house. The place is very quiet and private. The kitchen is well equipped to cook all your meals and the place is comfortable. We felt right at home. It is close to two restaurants and only a 30 minute drive to either Flores or Tikal. We heard the howler monkeys in the evenings. Thank you again!

No doubt Louis's cabin is spectacular, it feels peaceful as if you were at home, great location to know Tikal, there are restaurants around and the public beach where to swim. I would definitely go back to stay at Louis's cabin.

Lucrecia’s apartment is a good alternative to Flores for tourists looking to visit Tikal. El Remate is a small town on the way between Flores and Tikal, so all tour buses pass through the main road, which can save you about 30 minutes in travel time (and sleep!) compared to staying in Flores. Lucrecia was very responsive and helpful in arranging taxi transfer from Flores and the Tikal tour. The apartment is beautifully located right on the lake and next to the Biotopo Cerro Cahui, which we unfortunately didn’t have enough time to visit. The house itself is clean, private and comfortable, including a-c and hammocks. Definitely recommended!
