Waterfront holiday rentals in El Limón

My family and I really enjoyed it. It was an excellent place, just as described. I think that in the future when I return to Las Terrenas it will be my first choice. The beach was just a few minutes walk away, it wasn't that pretty, it was just very peaceful since it isn't commercially exploited like other beaches. However, there are other options, like Playa Galera, which is a bit close but a very nice experience, since it's my first time in the Dominican Republic. I will return soon.

Loved staying at Melissa’s place, felt just like home. Great location, beautifully decorated, up to date appliances, etc. I would say the best place we’ve staying in so far at Portillo Residences! Melissa was also ALWAYS available, replied very quickly, and very helpful. I will definitely be back!

Tony & Sylvie’s place is adorable. Super clean, excellent view of Playa Bonita, 30 seconds walk to the beach. Nice rooms and bathrooms. Kitchen had all you need if you like cooking. The balcony is large. The surrounding is full of coconut trees and very quiet. Sylvie was always easy to contact and helped us with everything. Hope to go back soon. Thank you!!

Excellent location and beautiful apartment, is very close to all the restaurants and has a nice beach just across the street.

Wow, what a place! The location is great close to the downtown and with the beach across the street. the apartment has a large rooftop to chill comfortably. This one of the best Airbnb I stayed in and I strongly recommend it. Lucas is very prompt in answering to a concern we had and he was able to assist us. He is a world-class kitesurfer and owns the best kitesurfing school in Las Terrenas. I had known this, I would have definitely planned to take some classes.

The apartment is within a block on the private playa bonita residences. The design of the apartment is very stylish and equipped with everything you would need for a short stay. The location is close to the beautiful playa bonita beach (4-5 mins) and from there you can access beach loungers and a pool which we used for our kids all with a wrist band you get given on arrival. There are some good restaurants located on the beach including Mosquito and Marea where service is v friendly. There is a small and basic bodega 15 min walk to get some provisions but would recommend the bigger supermarket for a larger shop which can be reached by taxi or car. Overall a great stay would recommend!

e had a wonderful weekend stay at the Palmas! The apartment was comfortable, clean, and perfect for our family of five. We felt very happy throughout our visit, and it was a great place to stay with kids. The surrounding area was beautiful and full of great options for dining and exploring. The on-site restaurants had delicious food and excellent service. The kids especially loved the pool — it was the perfect size and atmosphere for them to play and have fun. Our absolute favorite part of the trip was the beach. The water was pristine and calm — ideal for a relaxing family beach day. Having access to chairs, loungers, and an umbrella made everything even better. One of the highlights of the apartment itself was the terrace. It was the perfect spot for dinners and late-night conversations while listening to the sound of the waves. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended for families looking for comfort, great amenities, and beach getaway!

Favorite place in las terrenas!

We spent 4 nights in a beautiful villa close to the beach. The host was responsive, everything went well, I recommend it for a small group or family who would like to be quiet in las terrenas.

Open arrival we were totally enchanted by the beauty of the views and surroundings. The house was very clean and our beds were very comfortable too. We especially loved hanging out by the serene pool and gazebo. Lindsay gave us amazing places to see and to enjoy the natural beauty that the DR has to offer. She was very responsive to our every need. I would highly recommend coming to visit her home.

The place looked exactly like the photos — clean, cozy, and very well-kept. It’s clear that the host puts a lot of effort into making guests feel comfortable: the house had everything needed for a pleasant stay. Communication was quick and polite, and any questions were resolved without delay. Overall, a very positive experience.

Our stay at the place was beautiful. The view will take your breath away. The equipment of the apartment is very good. You will find everything you need for cooking in the kitchen. We felt very comfortable and the hostess was extremely friendly and helpful with all concerns. The manager Jannis on site also helps with everything. Many thanks for his commitment this morning when our car didn't jump on. We would recommend the place to anyone.

We’ve traveled a lot over the years, and this is without a doubt the most beautiful and best-located home we’ve ever rented. The open-concept villa, surrounded by nature, is tastefully and elegantly decorated — minimalist, serene, and full of charm. The breathtaking view over Playa La Playita and the Bay of Rincón is simply unforgettable. With private beach access, a large private pool, and a spacious, tree-filled property, everything invites peace and relaxation. The house was spotless, thanks to a kind and professional cleaning team, and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. A heartfelt thank you to Yocasty, for her warm welcome and respectful, smooth communication. She personally greeted us and showed us around the house, and even welcomed us with fresh fruit and handmade bread from the women of the village — a touching gesture The location is also ideal: close to gorgeous beaches and plenty of activities. We recommend this place in a heartbeat. Can’t wait to return ❤️

Amazing!!! The Airbnb was absolutely beautiful. The area is very beautiful and the local people are extremely nice. I absolutely love the area and I cannot wait to come back. The hosts helped us with EVERYTHING. Found us a driver, great meals, cleaners, helped with excursions, helped us translate, found us a chef, and got us transportation to and from the airport. I could not have asked for a better trip or better hosts. Everything I needed, they accommodated it. The Airbnb itself is absolutely gorgeous and the backyard area was breathtaking. The beach was walking distance and very clean and friendly. We will be coming back!!!

I had already stayed in this residential complex, but not in this apartment, and it was an extraordinary change. Rosio is always attentive and the apartment has everything you need to enjoy the area. It fully matches the description and all the amenities. 100% recommended, we hope to return soon!

Our stay at Fabien’s beachfront apartment in Las Terrenas was exceptional. The property is impeccably furnished and equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is well-stocked, catering even to those who enjoy cooking. We appreciated thoughtful touches such as a welcome basket of local fruits and a selection of toiletries, including sun protection products. Fabien was a gracious and attentive host, ensuring our experience was seamless. The location offers easy access to the beach and nearby amenities, making it an ideal choice for a relaxing getaway.

Playa Bonita remains unsoiled with a nice array of restaurants and amenities. We went for a family wedding; family members rented in the same complex. A gorgeous place. All the units were very nice but ours was the nicest :-). The owners have only upgraded high end furniture and fixtures. Views of the subset, amazing. The rare beautiful beach, not over built but with great food and amenities, heaven on earth. Other - while walkable amenities were great. Apps like Komida made shopping and food delivery fast and easy. The owner was very responsive with on the ground support. Little dark to walk at night- the phone light a great help. Everything very safe with security monitoring the ground discreetly and posted at entrances. We didn’t rent a car, opting to walk everywhere and get the occasional delivery. The unit has two kitchens! We missed that in the description. With a fridge and two bathrooms upstairs!

Our stay at the condo was amazing. We went to the Porto restaurant/bar across the street almost every day for drinks and/or food. The condo complex is in great condition. The pool was beautiful. Beach towels at condo are super nice quality. Ana, the housekeeper is an incredible cook and so friendly. She made us a few different plantain dishes and cooked salami. She also made potato salad that was a Domincan style and very good. She tidied up every day and she helped with our personal laundry too. Our Spanish is limited so we used Google translate app to chat. Also per Kristian's suggestion used Komida app for grocery and restaurant delivery. Very convenient - just make sure you follow directions in welcome book. The town is about 1.5 miles and you need to drive. We used a reliable taxi service Super Taxi Las Terrenas - safe, reasonable and reliable. It was really an incredible experience and all of the locals we interacted with were very friendly.
