I am very glad I stayed at Elena's place. They were extremely helpful and when there was no electricity or water in the country, they brought me a flashlight. Additionally, I had the luxury of having free water of the best quality as they brought me containers with water from a water well they said they have in their home. Also, and since the apartment is on the second floor on a building at about 2 blocks from the ocean, there is always a nice breeze. The location is perfect as it is close to Palacio de Convenciones (15-minute walk), and also near the Nautico (a place where there is a very nice and sandy beach!). There is also very nearby the bus stop for the Tourist Havana buses. These go downtown and the price is better (10 dollars) than paying for taxis. All and all, I had a very nice stay at Elena's place. So, many thanks Elena and David!

The property is equipped with everything you need. The bed is comfortable. It has been cleaned regularly, the bedding has been changed regularly. The terrace in front of the property is perfect for breakfast there. There are larger hotels near the property. There are Shopping and Restaurants. For a fee of 2,000 CUPS you can use the pool of Hotel Comodoro. The use of the Comodoro seawater pool is free. To get to the center of Havana, use Taxis Colectivos, which pass in front of Hotel Comodoro, about 500 m from the property. The price for this is about 1.00 euros. Natacha is a very kind and accommodating hostess. She gave tips for shopping and the surrounding area. I really appreciated our occasional conversations. I felt very comfortable there overall - also when dealing with the other family members. I fully recommend it.
