Holiday rentals with a patio in El Castillo

Sehr hübsches Haus mit einem super schönen Außenbereich mit dem Highlicht, direkt auf den Vulkan Arenal zu schauen. Am Morgen habe ich dort mit Kolibris gefrühstückt. Es gab viel Stauraum im Haus und das Bett war bequem. Auf dem Weg dorthin muss man auf den letzten Metern auf die Ausschilderung auf dem großen Findling achten

¡Recomendado! El departamento es muy lindo, cómodo y limpio. El jacuzzi es precioso, el aire acondicionado y el agua caliente funcionaban perfectamente. El parqueo es muy amplio. La atención que recibimos fue excelente, muy atentos y amables.

The home was beautifully decorated & clean with an AMAZING view of the volcano! Yana was very attentive! Would definitely recommend!

We loved this stay! The place it self is beautiful, very clean, quiet and private. They have thought of everything to help make your stay comfortable and relaxing. We loved the AC was lovely, the bed was comfortable, and there is a beautiful path down to the water we really enjoyed walking. We especially appreciated the host, who helped us translate when we almost missed a guided tour, he gave us directions and talked on the phone with our agency. It was so helpful!

Place was exactly as described and felt even more spacious than in the pictures. Modern and spotless. Jacuzzi tub was a plus after a long day of hiking. Convenient if you have a car and want something a bit more remote but still 5-10 minutes from all the shops and restaurants.

This place was AMAZING and exceeded our expectations! Adorable little condo, bedrooms very comfortable, and the view of the volcano FROM MY BED… was breathtaking! This is exactly where I will be next time I visit La Fortuna! Thank you!

L’appartement était exceptionnel! Nous avons tout simplement adoré notre séjour! C’était extrêmement propre et j’ai adoré leur souci du détail (des bouchons, plusieurs doudous, des jeux pour passer le temps, petit message personnel à l’entrée, etc.). Leur lit fait maintenant partie de mon top 3 des lits les plus confortables dans lequel j’ai dormi! De plus, les hôtes étaient très communicatifs et nous ont fait de bonnes suggestions. Ils répondaient également très vite aux communications. Bref, nous recommandons définitivement l’appartement!

This place was absolutely perfect for what we needed for our family of 4. Our boys are teenagers and were fine sleeping in the room separate from the house. Everything was as expected and communication was great. Views were gorgeous as described. One of our most favorite stays in Costa Rica.

We really enjoyed our time in Monteverde. The location is exactly as pictured. The view of the mountains is incredible! And it is a very peaceful location, but only 15 minutes into town. Yamileth was helpful and met us when we arrived to ensure we knew which drive and how to locate the parking. I would recommend this location to anyone considering the Monteverde area.

Great place to stay! Nice view of the mountains, big rooms and good kitchen. Good location to do some activities in the area. We only stayed for one night but we could check-in early en enjoyed our stay!

The home was exactly as described and offers beautiful views of the lake! The home is close to La Fortuna and all attractions. The layout worked well for our family (older adult child and two teenagers). Nancy is a great host and gave us good suggestions for things to do! We enjoyed our stay in El Castillo/Lake Arenal area and will be back!

Our stay at this Airbnb was absolutely breathtaking! The property was stunning, with every detail thoughtfully designed to create a cozy yet luxurious vibe. We were surrounded by gorgeous nature—lush greenery and serene landscapes that felt like a dream. We were worried the entire trip would be rainy, but to our delight, the skies cleared, giving us an incredible, unobstructed view of the volcano. It was the highlight of our stay! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for beauty and tranquility.

Jose, his family and friends were more than welcoming to us from the moment we came to the Airbnb! Quick responses and always there to lend us a hand or guide us to anything we may need! Amazing food at a local restaurant, horseback riding on his land with lots of things to see and learn about! His pool at the Airbnb was absolutely amazing! We loved getting to meet his family members and socializing with them! I would highly recommend this Airbnb to everyone in near the La Fortuna area!!! Ps wait until you see his 2nd one they are building right now!! Thank you soo very much! We loved everyone moment at your home!

Yoi was super responsive and helpful during my entire stay! It felt right at home and I felt like a family member staying here. They live literally right across so any problems I had they were quick to solve. The terrace is beautiful & peaceful, as well as the kitchen area outside. This place is a 5 min walk to El Santo and near a bunch of restaurants. Yoi has been the best host I’ve met and when I come back to La Fortuna I’ll be staying here again.

Found our stay at the apartment comfortable and enjoyable. The place was spotlessly clean. The bedrooms were spacious and the mattresses comfortable as were the sofas in the living space. It was an ideal location for our base for the week, close to town and restaurants, but also perfect as a sanctuary from some spectacular rain and thunderstorms that would roll in. We never really used the kitchen for cooking but it had all the amenities. The shower had good water pressure and hot water if needed. Our hosts were very friendly and responsive to any questions. If we needed it, fresh towels and sheets were available as was a tidy and clean of the garbage and bathroom from the helpful lady who worked there. We stayed for just over a week and would happily return and recommend to others.

I had a wonderful, restful vacation! The property was just as it was described on the listing. It was clean and all of the amenities were well-maintained. The hosts were very friendly and we’re open to recommending different activities for me to partake in or even travel help when needed. Johanna was excellent and providing Costa Rican dishes for me to try. The pets on their property are friendly. The neighbors are very welcoming as well. I really enjoyed my stay and hope to return next year. I definitely recommend this listing for those looking for relaxation, you would really feel at home there.

El alojamiento fue exactamente como estaba descrito. La zona es muy tranquila, perfecta para desconectarse del mundo y descansar. Estuve allí con mi familia y todos disfrutamos muchísimo. Las camas son súper cómodas y todo estaba impecablemente limpio. Sin duda, un lugar al que nos encantaría volver.

We had a wonderful 8-day stay at Tatiana’s condo. The location is perfect — very close to SJO airport, shopping, restaurants, and many attractions in Alajuela, but still quiet, peaceful, and very secure with 24/7 security. The condo itself was spotless, fully equipped with everything we needed, from kitchen supplies to comfortable bedding, and even little extras like Lizano sauce, coffee, and laundry supplies. Tatiana was an amazing host — always super responsive, providing us with great tips and recommendations for places to visit, and regularly checking in to make sure everything was going well. During one night when a heavy rainstorm knocked out the power, she acted immediately to help resolve the issue, which we really appreciated. The gated community is very safe, with nice green areas and a pool that the kids enjoyed. We really felt at home here and would not hesitate to stay again. Highly recommended!
