Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in El Cajon

We had a great weekend in San Diego staying here. The apartment is very clean, building is chic, and the bed was very comfortable. The area makes it central to walk / drive to lots of different neighborhoods in San Diego. The actual surrounding streets aren't very cute to walk on, but it is still a very convenient location and 20 minute walk to the Midway Museum / Broadway pier. The host was great and highly communicative. Overall a very positive experience.

Launa is a fantastic host - responsive, friendly, and eager to help with recommendations, as she is a local. Her place matched the pictures perfectly - clean with clear instructions. It is located on a busy read, so if you’re a light sleeper, I wouldn’t recommend taking the room closest to the street. However, if noise doesn’t bother you, you’ll be just fine, as my family was. The place was perfect for us! It was close to all the locations we needed, with plenty of dining options within walking distance. The beach is just a 10-minute drive, and my son had a soccer tournament at Coronado Beach, which was just a 15-minute drive. I would definitely recommend both the area and this place!

Charlotta was very helpful with the instructions and communicative. The apartment was perfect for our stay to watch the Padres play. Lots of walkable things to do. The apartment felt like home and was comfortable. Easy check in and checkout. I would stay again and recommend it to anyone you wants bay and city views.

The host and unit were awesome! Perfectly located in the Gaslamp District just one block away from Fifth street which was full of activities on the weekend. Easy walk to the waterfront, loved sitting on the balcony people watching, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The place was very spacious, well decorated, and had all the kitchen amenities. We cooked in 2 nights. CVS within 2 min walk and Ralph’s 7 min walk. Highly recommended and would definitely stay here again.

Loved staying here a second time! Make sure you drop people off/unload in front of the unit to avoid making others wait to park and don’t get a giant car - the garages are a tight fit like everywhere else in mission beach.

We had a great stay! The view of Petco Park was spectacular. We would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely stay at Pineapple Haven and appreciated how helpful and accommodating Bobby was. The place was nicely decorated, kitchen was stocked with everything you needed to get going, beds were comfortable and the buildings facilities were impressive. One downside is that it’s extremely loud when the people in the apartment above are walking around which woke us up about 6am each morning. But this is beyond the hosts control so didn’t impact our rating.

Die Lage war okay - man kam schnell überall hin und hatte auch eine Parkgarage, aber eben viele Obdachlose vor der Türe (was aber wahrscheinlich für San Diego normal ist) Würden Sirenas Unterkunft jeden weiterempfehlen!

Really enjoyed our stay here! The place is very nice and all amenities included plus backups for towels and sheets, etc. The place is central to so many great places and things to do that we didn’t need to drive much more than 10 or 15 minutes in any direction. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

This was the second time that my family stayed at this AirBnB, and we absolutely love the condo's proximity to the beach. The condo itself is clean with all the basic essentials that you need... boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels, and cooking supplies. Both of the times that we've stayed here the condo has been very quiet; we've never heard noise from neighbors. The condo community has several pools, hot tubs, and a tennis court plus the spectacular clubhouse with panoramic ocean views. There are lots of little coffee shops and places to walk to near the condo community and it's very family friendly. The mattresses and pillows are dated, but aside from that this condo is truly a gem.

We've just returned from a 3 week stay at this beachfront condo with many happy memories. Kirsty is an amazing host and responded to our many questions within minutes. The condo is exactly as described, bright, clean, comfortably-appointed and with elevated panoramic views of the beach. We spent many afternoons/evenings sitting on the balcony watching the waves, surfers and sunset with easy access to the massive fridge-freezer with "cold refreshments" and ice cream. The complex is well-maintained and the long-term residents take pride picking-up any litter and tidying the communal areas, in advance of the maintenance team. The main pool is heated and quiet, though there are often BBQs in the late afternoon/early evening. The condo is ideally located at the north end of Solano Beach close to the inlet with Del Mar. It's an easy walk to the shops and the Bangkok Bay restaurant, which we also highly recommend, is only one block away. We are looking at dates to return next year :-)

We had a great stay at Johnathan and Cindy's place. It felt like home for our almost two week stay. The kitchen was very well appointed with every cooking utensil you need, the bed very comfy, just everything you need. Our thoughtful hosts planned every detail, with little cute signs all over the appartment. We hope to be back, thank you for sharing your lovely place.

Shahriyar was probably one of the best Host I’ve had, Very interactive and make sure everything was smooth and easy as possible. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone that’s in the San Diego area.

My family and I really enjoyed staying at Tim’s cute and serene French style home. You can tell that Tim and his wife put a lot of thought and care into providing their guests with a wonderful stay. It was one of the cleanest Airbnbs that I have ever stayed in and had the fanciest amenities, like L’Occitane bath products and Nespresso coffee. It was well stocked with all the tools we needed to make meals. The towels were so soft and smelled great. The beds were very comfortable. The back yard was stunning and was very private. There were plenty of towels for the pool/spa. The heated pool, which costs $75 extra/day to have heated, was worth it during the June gloom weather. The location was very convenient to the 5, 805, and 52 freeways. There was spacious parking in the drive way, enough for 2 cars. I would advise any guests to avoid parking on the street, because the neighbor across the street is territorial about the street parking in front of his home.

Our family had an amazing time. Perfect place to spend family time together. The rooftop outdoor space was a favorite spot for all of us. Convenient location. Quick walk to Bay and good local restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved this place!! It’s was spotless clean, spacious, quiet neighborhood (perfect for a family), and on top of it all, my kiddo loved the free snacks. The whole experience felt like a hotel, but obviously more spacious and comfortable. I would definitely go back and recommend!

Very beautiful house with many locations nearby to go hang out, the home itself was very cozy we would love to stay again

We enjoyed our stay at Dominc’s!! The check in was so easy and the backyard was killer. That was definitely why we chose Dominic’s and it didn’t disappoint. The rooms were even nicer than the pictures. The kitchen was spacious. We loved the fenced in front yard. He was also so responsive and helpful.

We had a great stay at Tina’s Place ! The location was ideal for getting around ! There was 11 people in our group ages 2-70 and we were very comfortable! We were able to walk to the beach ( about -10 minutes) as well as to restaurants, shops , bars, etc. the house was central enough to make a short drive to La Jolla, Coronado , Point Loma and of course downtown. In about 20 minutes. The beds were comfy and the backyard was spacious for kids to runaround ! We would definitely air bb again
