Such a lovely get away! We spent the weekend as a family of 3 and it was such a cozy spot. The views from any window were beautiful and serene. Each room was extremely cozy. The first night my husband bought a bunch of longhorn meat and he raved about it daily. Kim was flexible to open the store for us when asked. We took daily walks in the woods as a family, which was such a great way to start the morning. If you have kids you’re bringing just beware, our son woke us up early every morning because he was just obsessed with seeing the animals out the window and wanted to go say hi to them ;) Our son was just absolutely obsessed with Piglet and Stanley and is now trying to convince us to get our own pigs and goats. Overall, this is the PERFECT stay if you don’t like staying in the city but like being 20 mins away from stuff to do. One of the best stays we’ve had as a family. Thank you again Kim for such an amazing stay!

Gary was extremely helpful and responsive. The house is beautifully designed. The only downside was the ticks—we found several on our dog throughout our stay. Apparently, male ticks are less likely to transmit diseases, but I’d recommend giving your dog tick prevention medication before your trip, just to be safe.

It is something so magical to be able to look at all kinds of gorgeous nature from inside the comfort of your own little shelter. These hosts have gone above and beyond to create one amazing Airbnb! The first one I’ve ever been to that really feels like the commercials! Highly recommended to all kinds of people. Great for a romantic setting or even a night alone to reconnect and get your thoughts straight. From beginning to end, we were well taken care of and had tuns to do! Words can’t describe how much we loved this place. You will too!

We had the most peaceful and relaxing vacation at Matt’s place. My family of 5 spent spring break here and we are so happy we did!! This house met all of our expectations. We never got sick of the views and will miss waking up to them. Our kids loved the loft space, paddle boat, the fire pit, and of course the game room!! Matt was extremely responsive and very helpful, kind, and friendly. This Airbnb is close enough to mystic for the tourist attractions and good food, while being able to get back to a completely relaxing house, which made this trip perfect. We will be back!

George is so warm and friendly. We love his studio and the view was just breathtaking. We spent most of our time just sitting in front of the big windows. His art works even inspired us to do some sketchings of our own...and we have never drew/painted anything since back in high school many many decades ago! His backyard is also such a work of art.... the beautifully landscaped koi pond, the giant rock sculpture with buddha, penguin sculpture...a pool that looks more like a beautiful water feature, spectacular azalea shrubs all made the whole backyard such a pleasure to look at as well as spend time in. At his studio space, we just decided to chill and enjoy living for the moment. We felt inspired and rejuvenated after our stay and we enjoyed our interactions with George very much and hope to have an opportunity to return to see him and his beautiful home again. Thanks for sharing your wonderful piece of heaven on earth with us travelers.

This is a must stay! We just did a roadtrip all across the US and this was one of our favorite spots to stay! They put a lot of effort into making the place homey and functional! 10/10 highly recommend - the hosts are very welcoming as well!

Absolutely wonderful property. I came here to rest and relax in the comfort and nature and wasn't disappointed. Beautiful hiking trails, comfortable living space. Well worth your money if you're looking to spend time in one of the more rural areas of Massachusetts. Will come again!

Peace. Tranquility. Calm. Come back to nature at Angela's place. We would love to return here in the warmer months to fully enjoy the lake. The inclusion of E.B. White's "Once More to the Lake" in the guestbook was a perfect touch. Angela's place is that piece personified. As I read it sitting in her cabin, I was whisked back to simpler times.
