5-minute walk from Kanazawa Station | A private, one-of-a-kind building for rent for a day, surrounded by Zen, crafts and art | Haku_ma

Kanazawa, where the vestiges of a castle town remain, is a city that has cultivated its own aesthetic with its crafts, tea ceremony culture, and beautiful streets. Shirama is a villa accommodation where the traditional Japanese materials and architectural style are inherited, but reinterpreted through Zen philosophy and a modern aesthetic and sense of beauty. It is available for one group per day and can be fully rented out. The space, adorned with the beauty of crafts, art and antique materials, is like a private gallery. Enjoy a peaceful stay immersed in the culture and beauty of Kanazawa, while experiencing the play of light and shadow, the negative space, and the character of the materials. The interior features carefully selected furniture and art pieces from both Japan and abroad, creating a space where elegant beauty coexists with a calm and comfortable atmosphere. Time to reflect in the quiet of your mind, time to talk with family and loved ones, helps you regain the mental space that you often forget in your daily life. Enjoy a special stay that combines convenience and tranquillity, not far from Kanazawa Station. Art, crafts, the pulse of the city, the signs of the seasons.Enjoy a stay where you can retreat indoors while experiencing the beauty of Kanazawa that stretches out beyond. Not just for sightseeing, but to make the stay itself a memorable time. We hope you can stay in Shirama as if you were living there and experience Kanazawa's aesthetic sensibility.

Self check-in. Stay in the Samurai Ruins area!

We renovated part of a house in Ichijodani to be exclusively for private lodging. It is conveniently located for walking around Ichinotani, with nearby Asaga Kasuga Shrine, which was the Asakura family's war victory prayer place, the Asakura family ruins of Shimosakado, the Asakura family ruins museum and JR Ichinotani station, the Asakura family ruins Karamon, and the restored street. There is a firefly spot nearby, and you can also find them on the premises. There is also good access to major tourist destinations in Fukui Prefecture, such as the Dinosaur Museum, Ski Jam Katsuyama, Eihei-ji Temple, Tojinbo, Shibamasa, and the Sand Dome. There are no restaurants, supermarkets, or drug stores nearby. The convenience store is also 2.5 km away. There is a moss garden on the premises and a lawn that is not well maintained, but if the timing is right, you can enjoy a private cherry blossom viewing and snow play on the premises. Because it is a rural area, there are insects and small animals around the facility and sometimes in the room. If you cannot tolerate encountering these, please refrain from booking. The capacity is 4 people, but it feels quite small for 4 adults. No smoking in the facility, including the toilet, bathroom, and under the kitchen ventilation fan. Please refrain from cooking outside the kitchen with a portable stove, etc. License number M180031406
