江戸時代から残る旧宇和島藩の庄屋屋敷、歌人が愛した庭を囲む一棟貸し露天風呂付きの宿【母屋】

愛媛県大洲市平野町野⽥。松⼭空港から約1時間ほど車を走らせ、大洲北只トンネルを抜けると「元・野⽥村庄屋」の⻑屋⾨が見えてきます。 長屋門をぬければ、そこには映画に出てきそうな別世界が広がります。 ケヤキ造りの⻑屋⾨は、建築から約200年経過しており、大洲市博物館にも掲載されています。 母屋は障⼦⼾の腰板には四季折々の花が描かれ、襖には⽂⼈や⾼層の書、近郷の庄屋との交流を⽰す⼿紙などが貼ってありました。 近田屋の庭園には、樹齢300年を超える槙の⼤⽊、茶梅や⾦⽊犀、松が植えられ、庭の隅からは1年中湧⽔が流れています。 四季折々に表情を変える⽊々、苔むす庭⽯、 癒しの⽔の⾳。歌⼈としても活躍した近田家3代⽬当主の⼋束（やつか）も、この美しい景⾊を眺めながら歌を詠んであろう、まさに雪月風花の庭です。 どの部屋からも美しい⽇本庭園を眺めることができる作り。 ここでしか味わえない時間が流れています。 近田屋の横には山から流れてくる綺麗な小川があり、5月６月には蛍が飛んできます。 また、庭から見上げると満天の星空が。 日常からはなれた贅沢な滞在（体験）をお楽しみください。
