It's close to the famous bars and restaurants of Broughton Street and not far from Royal Botanic Gardens. Most of the sights are in within walking distance. Arriving from Waverley Train Station and walking to the house is relatively easy. There is a tram stop at York Place at the top of Broughton Street with a direct connection to the Airport. Our lovely boutique, room only, hotel is located in the New Town, close to all tourist attractions. This recently refurbished stylish bedroom boasts a brand new shower room. Duravit sanitary, Vado fittings and Laura Thomas toiletries exemplify modern luxury and practicality, making the en-suite a stand out feature. Every element, from the spacious design and the high end amenities , have been carefully selected to ensure a memorable stay for guests. We have hi-speed wi-fi and streaming TV's.

Comfy room in quiet and convenient area

Quiet place close to Edinburgh in a very convenient location, very near the city centre but in local and quiet neighbourhood. You have many things around and the views from your room are of the beautiful Pentland Hills. Nice for people travelling to explore Edinburgh and around, having a stop over to/ from the Highlands or for newcomers to Edinburgh while searching for a permanent place where to stay. The bed can be arranged as a single or double room, according to the number of guests.

Very comfortable, and an easy place to be. I used it as a base for activities and events in the Edinburgh area, and found the train connection very handy when I didn’t want to take my car. Plenty of car parking on site, and the railway station is only 400 or so metres away. Very welcoming and friendly staff

This apartment is within more of an 'aparthotel' set up, so expect to feel like you're in a hotel, just with your own apartment. For me, this made me feel very safe and secure and the staff working on reception and in the cafe downstairs I cannot rave enough about - they were just incredible and so friendly and kind with both me and my dog. The apartment was beautiful, a perfect size and with everything needed for the week. Be aware that the venue next door is loud if you're on a certain side of the building at weekends, but earplugs and a white noise machine were provided. I'd move in tomorrow if I could and would be very well set up for life in the city!

Stuart's place is a real home from home! We were welcomed personally on arrival by Paul as Stuart had nipped out. Booking was very straightforward, Stuart responds very quickly and is very approachable. Our room was lovely, cosy and a lot of thought had gone into guest comfort. Both our room and the ensuite were immaculately clean. The bed was so, so comfortable, we slept extremely well which is not always the norm in a "strange" bed. Ravenswood is very easy to find with excellent off street parking. It is also within walking distance of the town. We have been coming over to Stirling since 2018, we love the area, there is so much to do and do many wonderful sights and restaurants. We would have no hesitation in recommending Stuart's place and we definitely look forward to a return visit.

Stuart is an amazing and warm host. It was a pleasure speaking with him at length. He provided a massive and tasty breakfast. The room was very clean and very comfortable, and the cherry on top was the EV charger at the house. All in all, a terrific stay. Thank you!

The hotel is tastefully decorated and has lots of charm. you can park in front easily and the center is within walking distance. Stuart, the host is very friendly and welcoming. They're available to answer any questions. Breakfast was delicious, especially scrambled eggs on toast.

we stayed on the 1st weekend of opening and given that works were still being done on the swimming pool side. ie changing rooms. there was nothing that prevented our fun and use of the pool. start to finish staff couldn't do enough to help and we will definitely be coming back to stay!
