The Mary Jane Suite @ The JD Hyde Historic Inn

Built in 1886, the JD Hyde Historic Inn has been completely restored over the last several years. It is a large home, sitting at almost 4,000 square feet, and has plenty of space for you to spread out and enjoy. While there are no televisions anywhere at the house, we do have very fast wifi, a swimming pool & spa, a firepit, and a library full of books. There are board games to play, great restaurants and breweries nearby to visit, and a fabulous home base to enjoy it all from!

This hotel room features two comfortable Queen beds, an ideal place to rest after a full day of adventure in Kirkwood, California. In winter, enjoy easy access to the mountain with a short walk to the lifts. After skiing, relax in the building’s hot tub when operating or unwind in the common area by the fire for a classic après-ski experience. When summer arrives, Kirkwood becomes a high-alpine playground with scenic hiking and biking trails, pristine lakes, and peaceful rivers.

The Double Queen Family Mini Suite is a spacious room with two Queen Size beds that can easily accommodate a party of four adults and a fifth with a rollaway bed for an extra fee. Our mini suites, at nearly 520 square feet, are some of the largest rooms in the Yosemite area. Washer & dryer also available on site for a fee.
