Cosy Log Cabin in Aith, Shetland

Relax and recharge with the family in the peaceful and picturesque village of Aith. This is our family holiday home, close to our family in the quiet and friendly village of Aith, Shetland. It is a great location as the village has a shop, Leisure Centre, Harbour and Marina, play park and is a 5 minute walk to the fantastic ‘Michael’s Wood’. This award winning woodland and trail was planted by family in memory of our cousin and so is a really special place for us which we hope you will enjoy.

Waddle Self Catering

The Waddle is a traditional Shetland croft house, refurbished to offer a homely and comfortable stay for guests. Situated in a peaceful, quiet, remote location just over a mile from the nearby village of Walls, tucked in under the hill overlooking a sea-loch, it's a perfect place to enjoy Shetlands wildlife, scenery, peace and freedom. The Waddle is situated on an active croft. We have approximately 250 sheep with lambing in the spring, silage baling in the summer and feeding in the winter.

Patio doors lead on to decking and lovely garden. Parking. Five minutes drive to beautiful Meal Beach, 10 minutes to Lerwick. Walking distance to Scalloway. On bus route.

Spectacular Shetland Waterside Location

Located at the very heart of Shetland, with spectactular views & abundant nature, Orwick Lodge is a great base for exploring the Shetland Islands. Minutes from quiet rural beaches, the famous Hams o Roe, trying to spot an otter passing the window or waking up to Shalders on the patio, in 2018 Shetland had 2 pods of Orcas circumnavigating the islands. At evening you can enjoy the award winning Frankies fish & chips, enjoy complimentary mussels from our farm, or seek out Shetland music.

East-Gate Selfcatering

East-Gate was built new in 2018 the property is located in central Shetland and beautifully finished. Outside the patio door takes you onto a decked area which you can sit out on for your morning cuppa or evening glass of wine or to simply take in the scenery . It has the latest air to air heating and air con. We are very lucky to have a hot spot for otter sighting on our door step just a short walk down the field. The sea views and coastal walks makes this an ideal tranquil location.

Ingrid's self catering in the heart of Scalloway

Self catering property with stunning views looking west over the rooftops and harbour towards the Burra lighthouse. Set in the heart of Scalloway it is close to castle, museum, swimming pool, shops, chemist and bus stop. There ia a Chinese takeaway and award winning resturant closeby. This cosy property has a stove and peats are provided. There is a kitchen equipped with cooking facilities and washing machine. This property has its own private access and parking.

Beachside, spacious, centrally located house

Situated across from a beautiful sandy beach sits the newly refurbished “Da Haaf”, a 4 bedroomed, light and airy spacious property. With an open plan fully equipped fitted kitchen/dining room/sitting room with wood burning stove, 3 double bedrooms and one twin bedroom, 2 with en suites, a family bathroom, library and laundry room, it is sure to feel like a home from home. Da Haaf is in a lovely central location, situated just 10 minutes drive from Lerwick.

Two bedroom cottage in central Lerwick

Comfortable two bedroom cottage, situated in the centre of Lerwick. The cottage has recently been refurbished, and is decorated with a modern feel. Located on King Harald Street, the cottage is within walking distance of Lerwick town centre, near various cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops. Please be aware that there are two sets of steps to get up to the cottage (27 in total), so it may not be suitable for people with mobility issues, or prams/buggies.

Situated in a lovely small town in Scalloway in a family friendly street. Within a 10-15 minute walk you can reach the amenities in Scalloway: Historic Scalloway Castle, Museum, pubs, cafe, swimming pool, barbers, hairdressers, beauticians, pharmacy, play parks and grocery shops. The bus stop is at the bottom of the road which is a 2/3 minute walk away. This has great bus routes including a 10/15 minute bus journey to the main town, Lerwick.

Reclaimed ‘oot hoose’ located in Burra- a small fishing village on the west side, only 15 min drive from Lerwick. Burra is a lovely part of Shetland, & home to some of its most beautiful beaches and coastal views. The shop is a 2 minute walk away, where you can book a tour with ‘Shetland Sea Adventures’ fishing trips & tours of the outer islands. Air b&b is next to a bus stop with connecting services to Lerwick & other parts.

Bright, modern and airy flat, right in the heart of Lerwick. Recently redecorated and refurbished, this flat is equipped with all you need for a comfortable stay. Big bay windows look out over the town's historic Hillhead - the perfect location for viewing the world-famous Up Helly Aa fire festival, as the spectacular torchlight evening procession starts from right outside, making this the ideal view point.
