Great house for our girls weekend. Jamestown is so cute and we decided to eat out for the weekend but the kitchen was stocked if we’re to stay in. SteveO is a great host and great communicator. The hot tub was perfect. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

My friend and I stayed here for a quick two-night getaway and had a great experience. The space is quiet, cozy, and super well taken care of. The view of the water from the living area is beautiful, and we spent both mornings sitting outside with coffee, and afternoons enjoying the view from the hot tub. We appreciated that the kitchen was fully stocked with all the cooking equipment we needed for nights in—and that Mary had a whole list of spots to check out for adventures out (local shops, antique spots, and really solid lobster rolls!) If you’re looking for a low-key, clean, calm place to relax, recharge, and still have easy access to town, this is a great pick. We’d absolutely come back.

Martin's cottage in Litchfield was a little piece of heaven!! My sister and I stayed for 4 days. The first 2 days we had to work remotely and were delighted to 'set up shop' in the adorable dining room with a large sliding glass door looking out on the beautiful back yard - internet connection was flawless and we were able to totally focus in the blissful quiet of the rural location. After attending the funeral of our dear aunt in Southington, we had some time to explore Litchfield's adorable shops and fine restaurants. We both slept so soundly each night in the wonderful beds and left 're-charged' and 'de-stressed' after our stay!! I feel that I've found a treasure and a true getaway, even if just for a long weekend. Super-easy to get to Bradley airport and the route is so scenic! The Fall would be an IDEAL time to come to this cottage. Finally, Martin was, indeed, a super-host, as rated in Airbnb!! Extremely responsive and kind, each time I reached out to him!

Such a lovely home! actually better than I expected! Will definitely book again. It’s honestly a no brainer after staying there. I can recommend this place 100%!

We had a wonderful stay at Leann’s! The home was absolutely lovely—clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The amenities were just what I needed for a relaxing getaway. Leann was a great host, and we truly can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

We always love going to this cottage. It’s our favorite. It’s actually one of our favorite places. To go a few times a year winter summer. We just spent memorial weekend there. A little doggies loved it. Home away from home so cozy. Bobby the host is wonderful. My daughter boyfriend came up and they absolutely loved it and my son came from Texas to spend one night. It was his first time there he loved it. We already planning on going back. Fantastic getaway. If you need to distress and want calmness. This is the place to come to. And the town of Mystic has great restaurants Like I said it’s our favorite place to come to and I’ve been to quite a few…. Just got home today and I’m seeing if I can book some sometime in October to go back we love it.

We loved our stay here. It was the perfect place for two of us and our dog. The home was just as described, welcoming, cosy and well equipped, and we appreciated all the local recommendations. We enjoyed local walks, the lake, and the great dog park, as well as easy access to Middletown to visit our son. Elisabeth and Daniel were fantastic hosts!

My sister, dog and I stayed at the cottage for the weekend and had a great experience! Erika is a wonderful host and the property is beautiful. The cottage itself was exactly as pictured. Breakfast in the inn, cooked with natural and organic ingredients, is an absolute must. The location of the inn is great as well, with direct access to the Lantern Hill trail (which our dog loved) and only a short drive from downtown. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Jeanne's place was perfect for my trip to Guilford. Excellent location, close to the Green and to the water, quiet, peaceful. The house had everything I needed and more, Jeanne was super responsive and kind, and the bed was comfortable.

Cabin & location was exactly as described. Pristine lawn, overlooking the ocean and pool. Loved that the cabins were super clean and pet friendly because we spent all morning (until 10am) on the beach with our standard poodles! Just screen your pets for the tiny (freckle size) ticks. We later learned that Montauk had a high rate of lymes. Beach access was within walking distance (less than 5 mins), but restaurants were not within walking distance. Definitely recommend bringing bicycles because it’s a short 2mile distance to the heart of town and they have bike parking almost everywhere we went. Would definitely recommend Ron’s cabins to our friends and family because it truly was a gem of a find!!

Angela was a great host and very accommodating after an unfortunate personal event we encountered just after arriving. The cottage was very comfortable and immaculately clean. Love the keyless entry. Neighborhood is quiet and we felt extremely safe. Deer pass through the yard throughout the day and what's more beautiful than that!!! We absolutely recommend Angela as a host and would not hesitate to book again in the future.

The cottage was fantastic, and Jodi was an amazing host. Communication was effortless and timely, and Jodi was helpful, proactive and generous. I loved how close the sound was to the cottage - hopefully I'll be able to stay there again, and if I do I'll bring a kayak with me. For the purposes of this stay, though, maybe the best thing was how close it was to where I was working for the week - less than a 5-minute drive to downtown Old Saybrook.

Joel was a fantastic host, very friendly and informative. House was beautiful and clean. Two things I will say(that the host has no control of might I add). First it is on a Main Street, people whip by the house fast and it’s very loud. And second, if you suffer from any type of balance issues or vertigo, unfortunately several of the floors are not level and either are the stairs. This is not something the host could do anything about but unfortunately it affected me a lot as I suffer with balance issues. We truly did enjoy our stay though and if not for my balance issues then we would 100% stay at this house again!

Wonderful place to get away from the busy life. We found it relaxing and a convenient 20 min drive to the academy We will definitely book again!

Daisy was absolutely perfect! The cottage is beautiful inside and out. It was wonderful to sit on the deck looking out at the lake. A relaxing place to unwind & catch up with good friends! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

Absolutely fantastic stay! We cannot say enough great things. We were able to check in last minute with a very quick response- yay! The attention to detail in cleaning is unmatched and so appreciated. They actually dust all the places no one else seems to. Simple touches that go a long way in convenience: towel hooks in the bathroom, a stool by the door to place your things down while you keypad in, closet full of extra pillows and odds and ends. Mystic is beautiful and this was a perfect location. Very happy we had our own outdoor space as well. Will definitely recommend to others!

What a beautiful view! We had a great time despite the weather. The house was very comfortable and the location right on the lake is hard to beat.

We had 2 rainy days to start. So we huddled up in the comfy living room with the massive TV( daughter in law said biggest she has ever seen🥰) and watched current amazing movies!! Made amazing food and snacks in the culinary approved kitchen! (Sauté Chef). We spent $200 on food and ate like kings. The main bedroom also has a TV so we could watch different things! I spent many years with my family at Old Colony Beach. Amazing how many places are still there from my childhood. It was a memorable experience for myself, my son and his girl! Last day was sunny and beach bound. So peaceful ☺️ Thank you, Blessings, Dawn

The cottage was cute and comfy. It fit myself, my husband, 3yo and 9 month old well with the trundle bed. The location was convient for shopping, restaurants and attractions. We would stay here again.

We could not have asked for a nicer place to stay~~~~clean, comfortable, woke up every morning hearing the bird’s singing. Felt like home. And Lori was a wonderful host! Thank you!

I can’t say enough good things about my experience. This was my second trip here and just like the first time, it lived up to expectations! The house is impeccably maintained and located within walking distance to the beach. It’s only a short drive to downtown which has a variety of restaurants- and The Book Barn of course! Phil and Kelly were fantastic hosts from the moment I booked until after I checked out, with very proactive communication and clear instructions as well as a detailed list of food recommendations and things to do in the area. It was a perfect getaway and I’ll be back for sure.
