Holiday rentals with lake access in East Cook

Absolutely gorgeous location and super clean home! Well stocked with basics and comfortable inside and out. Many chairs to choose from outside. Bug spray and umbrellas available. We loved sitting on the deck by the lake when the weather was nice. Incredibly peaceful! We heard loons, geese and that's about it. No traffic/train sounds - very quiet! Loved it! Beds/pillows/towels were comfy, as was the sofa. Monica left us a package of pancake mix and everything we needed to make it. So thoughtful and delicious! Couple things to mention - bring slippers the floors are cold and there are no rugs. Also, there is no tv, but there are some dvds in a cabinet for when there is inclimate weather. We were able to get online more than half the time. (T-Mobile). The bathtub is a tall soaker, but a bit harder to get into and very slippery on the bottom. There is nowhere to eat/buy groceries nearby. The closest ones we found were in Thunder Bay 45 min up the road. A very nice place!

Thank you for providing a wonderful space for a family of 5 to get away! The 4 bedrooms were perfect for our family and everyone had their own space at the end of the day. We loved the sauna and took full advantage of it! This was also the cleanest Airbnb we have ever stayed at. Thank you, Joe and Lauren!

A beautiful house that fit the needs for our family while attending one of our sons wedding up at Gooseberry Falls State Park. It allowed us to relax and feel comfortable while there. Thank you

Donna & Peter's house is so comfortable to return to after a day up the shore hiking, or down to Duluth sight-seeing. Tall ceilings and spacious rooms have big windows to let in plenty of daylight. The neighborhood is calm and close to all that Two Harbors has to offer. Kitchen and baths are well-supplied, beds are comfy. We struggled a bit with the back door keypad. Donna & Peter communicated swiftly, and had a young man come over quickly to help. We can't quite figure out how such a big house fits inside what appears from the street to be like a bungalow, but we'll take it! We had a great stay. Thanks!

"Viewpoint" has alot to offer from the spectacular views towards the lake & beyond. Spacious kitchen & living area which includes a album collection enjoyed by all. Spent alot of time on the deck enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The Lutsen area has alot to offer and we definitely took advantage of some. The Red cabin was cute ! Overall our stay was very nice and fit our expectations . Thank you, till the next time..

WOW! This place is such an awesome find and Charlie and Heidi have been the most responsive, helpful and kind hosts we have come across in our time using Airbnb. The home is gorgeous and laid out in a way that even with a large group of people, you can always find a quiet spot for yourself. The view is AH-mazing! Beds were extremely comfortable, home was spotless, and the young adults LOVED the sauna. I personally enjoyed my morning coffee in the downstairs porch area or on the deck, enjoying the million dollar view and listening to the loons. Heidi and Charlie have put so much thought into making sure that their home feels like your own with so many thoughtful and appreciated supplies and comforts. They put their heart and soul into making sure you have a memorable and lovely stay. Highly recommend!!

This house is in Hovland on the North Shore (relatively close to the Canadian border), and the view from the house of Lake Superior is breathtaking. You can just sit there and enjoy it. The home is well-equipped, with a lovely wood-burning fireplace (it made an especially lovely aroma in the house). We also liked the charming river bordering the property, it's literally a small river going through which gives more feelings of wilderness. Easy access to Grand Marais, Lutsen, and Grand Portage, and also to abundant hiking trails, which we really enjoyed.

What can you say? This home has a gorgeous private black sand beach in a small cove directly below the house. So beautiful and peaceful, especially at sunrise and sunset. The house itself is lovely with very nice linens and super comfortable beds and pillows and a charming cabin vibe. The kitchen is well stocked. The location is fantastic- near Split Rock lighthouse, Tettegouche and Gooseberry Falls. The communication about how to check in and what amenities are available is incredibly detailed and helpful. We would love to stay here again!

Communication with the hosts was smooth and fast before and during the stay. The studio was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the patio area, and reading by the fireplace in the evenings. It was so nice to relax on the lakeshore, and it was easy to walk to restaurants and shops nearby. I would def stay here again!

Beautiful spot in GM - watched the lake from the picture window overlooking the bay. Very walkable to great food and shopping and a great home base force hikes, bikes, and adventures …also enjoyed the lawn furniture in the shade of pretty tree. I loved every minute of my 2 week stay.

If you are fortunate enough, to spend some time on Minnesota’s North Shore, you won’t be disappointed staying here. Brenda and Tom‘s place is exactly as described. It is more than we expected. It is clean, beautifully decorated, and a lovely place to spend a vacation. The location is perfect and so scenic! We enjoyed sitting on the deck and even spotted an Eagle! We had a wonderful time hiking and exploring the surrounding area, including Gooseberry Falls, Grand Marais, and the quaint town of Two Harbors.

Loved our stay at Cedar's Seaside Chalet. Everything was exactly as described. The view of Lake Superior was spectacular. Loved falling asleep with the window cracked listening to the waves. Our son really enjoyed the sleeping loft with the skylight and video game. We were in Lutsen to support a friend running a 50K ultra marathon, so we didn't spend a ton of time in the condo, but when we did it was super relaxing and we crashed hard! Will definitely be back again!

The place was warm and inviting. There was no hassel of checking in, plus we had all the comforts of home, a livingroom, a kitchen, and extremely large bedroom. The place was more than we expected and the beds were very comfortable. We will definitely stay here again on our next adventure to ThunderBay. Not to mention the price was perfect and Terri was great with offering ideas where to go and places to eat. Thank you again.

Wonderful place to stay! Beautiful view in a peaceful surrounding yet close enough to area restaurants and breweries. Was the perfect place for us and the 2 couples that were with us. We had enough public space to hang out together yet the bedrooms far enough apart for rest and sleeping. We would definitely consider staying here again!

I really enjoyed my 4 nights at Knife River. Paula was very responsive and the home was well equipped and had everything we needed. I enjoyed the near by river trail, smoked fish shop, and candy store. Two harbors is only a 15 minute drive as well. My dog is fearful of other dogs, and this was a great place for her to take a break from city living and enjoy nature without too many other dogs around. I would love to visit again in the winter since it seems there may be some local events going on during that time!

Just book it! My husband and I agree- the best view we’ve ever had! Beautiful at sunrise through sunset, followed by the most perfect stars once darkness sets in. There is a lot of fun hiking in the area and this made such a perfect home base. The views from the hot tub are unbelievable! Scotty was responsive and helpful with local recommendations. We were traveling with our two young daughters who loved the space- plenty of room for all of us. If we’re lucky enough to have the opportunity to stay here again, we enthusiastically would.

This is a lovely spot to stay on the peninsula. It’s close to both lakes so you can canoe anywhere. The August long weekend was a little busy on the lake but then it got quiet on Monday. Michael is very friendly and was a great host. All cooking and bbq supplies were available. It was a week to remember for us. Thank you Michael and Julie.

We loved this home!! Enjoyed sitting down by the dock and relaxing. Home is super comfy and beds are comfortable. Many amenities in the property. Loved the peacefulness of this home and Jen was very responsive and helpful. Great communication.

Our stay here was amazingly peaceful! We enjoyed the outdoors flying kites during the day and roasting marshmallows at night. Our time indoors was spent playing various games in the garage and also many board and card games available in the house. Great place to stay if you’re looking to get away!

Honestly, this is one of the best Airbnb stays I've had. What a beautiful cabin in the most gorgeous setting. You can walk right down to the lake and lay on the warm rocks. A 15 minute drive to Grand Marais, if needed. An abundance of hiking trails close. The cabin itself is perfectly outfitted - super clean, comfortable, great local art / books / products. Hosts are communicative and helpful. The cabin guidebook was daunting at first, but there are clear instructions and labels to help guests figure things out. Highly recommend; hope to return!

The cottage was perfect for our ladies weekend. There was 5 of us and we slept comfortably. The view of Lake Superior from our big window is the best thing! We woke up to sunrise on the lake and the view was just breathtaking! We did not do much besides hung out in the cottage and talk all weekend long! For the price we paid, we wanted to enjoy the cottage and view as much as possible. It definitely was well worth it!

My family absolutely loved this camp. It’s so spacious and beautiful. Waking up every morning to have my coffee overlooking the peaceful lake was a dream. We used the floating dock and supplied floats. I also really appreciated all the outdoor seating Mike had not old down at the beach but by the fire place .
