The Smithy, Mosser. Come and Listen to the Silence

NileshRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Great base camp for getting around to walks in the area. Ennerdale, Scafell and plenty of the 'mere's were all accessible within an hour. Nearest town is very close by, 8 mins driving. Cabin was warm and cosy. Very quiet area, perfect for a bit of p&q. Host was friendly and very responsive. Left us to it during our stay and said hi when we bumped into each other. Details and instructions were all clear before arriving. Would book again.

Isabel's Cottage in quiet village near Cockermouth

JohnRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Our first stay in an Air Bnb and we had an amazing time. The cottage was beautiful, clean, spacious and really peaceful. Lisa greeted us when we arrived and when we needed some help with taxis, provided numbers and the local bus timetable too. The beds were super comfortable. Our daughters loved it. Thank you

The Place, Loweswater. Utter tranquillity.

ElizabethRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay at The Place. The location is breathtaking, and the house itself is perfect - every detail is beautiful and well thought-out, and Lucy had provided anything one could think of. Everything was of very high quality, from the bed linen and towels to the kitchen equipment. We were all adults, but if you have children, there are lots of toys, games, and activities, so that even on rainy days, there is plenty to do. Great walks nearby, perfect both for those who like hills and those who prefer flatter ground - Buttermere and Crummock are wonderful low ground walks, and of course the walk though Holme Woods to the Kirkstile is lovely. Thanks, Lucy and Nick!

Daffodil Cottage

NatashaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a fantastic stay! The cottage was perfect for two—spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's in a great location, close to the sea and a national park (especially convenient if you have a car). The hosts were excellent at communicating and very helpful, especially as we were arriving quite late. Highly recommended!

The Carriage - A first class experience

RichardRating, 5 stars1 week ago
It is difficult to portray with words how outstanding this quirky accommodation is! We were looking forward to the novelty of staying in a train carriage but were not expecting such a high level of comfort, and really spacious living and dining areas, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. The bed was one of the comfiest I have had in an air bnb and the shower was great! So many choices of places to sit and relax, with beautiful views from every window! The location was stunning, and I loved falling asleep to the sound of the river. We also loved sitting in the sun on the deck on the comfy outdoor setting. The train was so beautifully decorated, with quality and character filled furniture. There was everything you could possibly need for a stay, and we couldnt recommend Katie-Anne's property highly enough. Thanks for a holiday we will remember for a lifetime.

Entire Cosy Cottage near Keswick, Lake District

AmandaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We've had a wonderful week long stay at La'al Cottage. Michael was a great host and communicated everything really well and gave recommendations of places to go locally that were dog friendly. The cottage itself is really cosy and equipped with everything we needed. Even the dogs were catered for with a little jar of dog treats and dog bowls which we thought was a lovely touch. It's in a great location too, central to everything in the town but tucked away off the road. We had no problem parking on the cobbled area throughout the week. I would definitely recommend the cottage and we will absolutely be back here for another visit! Thanks Michael!

The Little Coach House, Lake District

ClaireRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Thank you Yvonne. Our stay at The Coach House was perfect for the two of us for a couple of nights. The cottage was beautiful and immaculate. Yvonne welcomed us on arrival and had provided a very thoughtful welcome pack. She had left tea, coffee, sugar etc, but had also left a fresh loaf of bread, butter, eggs and fresh milk. Lovely toiletries were also provided in the bathroom, including a toothbrush and razor set. The shower was spacious and powerful and the towel rail was left on to dry the soft fluffy towels. We will certainly recommend the cottage ti friends and family and I’m sure we will go again too. Many thanks.
