Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Durham

Wonderful place to stay when you are in the Pittsboro North Carolina area. Very peaceful and quiet location. The hosts were very responsive to questions, beds were comfortable and very nice kitchen. Our dogs loved the fenced in back yard.

I needed a quiet escape after a death in my family, and Erin’s place checked all the boxes. The home was clean and cozy. I highly recommend if you need somewhere peaceful to recharge away from it all.

We had a wonderful stay at William's place! The house was spotless, modern, and very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, which made meals super easy. Our kids absolutely loved the tree house in the backyard - such a fun and unique touch! The master bathroom felt like a spa, with a gorgeous glass shower and soaking tub. It was peaceful, quiet home with the bonus of laundry machines, which came in very handy. William was a fantastic host - a great communicator and incredibly supportive throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

Overall a nice little spot, location was good proximity wise to the city and other stuff. The neighbors are quite close on both sides so not the most private but didn’t bother us. Would stay again !!

We were looking for a place for a friend reunion before a wedding and this space was perfect. It comfortably fit 7 adults. We loved how peaceful it was. The host was very responsive and helpful during the whole stay.

Perfect experience! The house is exactly as described with great extras - toiletries, coffee, filtered water ready for us! Everything was very clean and comfortable, very peaceful setting and super comfy sheets! Erin was highly responsive throughout our booking and stay process. Maybe the best all around Airbnb experience I have had!

This Airbnb is perfection. Check in was seamless and Cam's communication was excellent. He responded quickly to our questions and provided recommendations for places to go and eat all over Raleigh. The house itself was beautiful, immaculately clean, and extremely comfortable. It came fully stocked with everything you could possibly need and included thoughtful touches like chocolates, a pantry with snacks, drinks and even dog bowls and treats. It is very apparent that Cam cares deeply about his guests' experience. The location is ideal. The home is in a beautiful, historic neighborhood where you can easily walk to NC State, The Village, numerous restaurants, and shops. We also enjoyed the convenience of off street parking in the carport behind the house. Overall, this stay exceeded all of our expectations and we couldn't recommend this home more. We look forward to returning the next time we are in Raleigh.

Great house and decor minutes to downtown Durham. Easily walkable to many points of interest. House was spotless, would definitely recommend!

For my first time being in North Carolina, it truly helped elevate the experience with such a beautiful location filled with trees surrounding and nature. Mohmeet was always responsive and attentive to anything I needed and worked their best to provide the very best. Price was also amazing, thank you for making my first time in North Carolina much more memorable for me and my partner! ❤️

Stunning apartment with beautiful natural lighting. Bed was very comfy, rainfall shower was amazing, and location was incredible. 10/10.

Erin's place was spacious, well decorated, and comfortable. The place included extra amenities with white noise machine in bedrooms, games for the kid, and extra towels and linens. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had all items needed for short stay and for cooking. Erin was very friendly, responsive, and proactive in instructions. Overall, the place feels peaceful and secluded.

Great spot to stay. Very close to downtown. I was taking Lime scooters in to a conference and was there in 5-10 minutes. Apartment was clean and looked just like the pictures

I loved everything about Jeanette's tiny house AirBnB. I felt inspired to have stayed there for three nights. I got a lot of work accomplished for my clients while staying there. As well as now feeling rested and ready for the next leg of my journey. Even the exterior and interiordesign of this tiny house inspired me. I hope one day I'll be able to design and build something that evokes the same feeling of spaciousness in such a small space—perhaps as a studio for my creative projects that might also double as a place where my visitors might stay. Highly recommended!

Eight of us rented this house for a book club 20th anniversary celebration. It is an older building, but has been beautifully renovated and modernized. The kitchen was well-equipped, including basic supplies and the entire place was immaculate. I believe this is the first Airbnb I have rented that had enough towels for everyone. It also had a lovely back porch for morning coffee and adequate parking. The owners answered any questions almost immediately in addition to providing detailed information about the house and Durham on their Airbnb page. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Durham.

Abdalla and Ali were great hosts. Very responsive and kind. The place was super comfortable and was nice for us! We enjoyed the space and would love to stay here again on travels to Durham.

This was not my first stay at the Scout House, and it will not be my last. Everything about it is perfection - from the location, to the property, to the sensational hosts (Marie & BJ). My stay was delightful in every way and I cannot wait to return!

Peaceful, private and clean. Met expectations and then some. We really enjoyed ourselves, as did our dog, and appreciate hosts allowing our furry best friend to be with us. Beautiful field and natural surroundings. A lovely escape. Road noise is detectable as per the information, but did not detract from our experience. The sound of songbirds in the morning was heavenly. Saw a Carolina Wren sitting on five eggs in its nest. Excellent communication via messages and written and app instructions. Love the outdoor lights. Very impressed the owners are aware of nature’s need of darkness, so turned off outdoor lights when not in use (outdoor lights confuse migratory birds, for example) and felt safe. Hoping to return soon!

If I could give this property and management 10 stars I would! The house Is quaint and surrounded by trees. It has two large screened porches with plenty of seating. It is the epitome of peacefulness. You feel like you are alone in the woods but you are only 5 or 10 minutes from everything!! The owners were so very responsive and helpful. They are really kind people. We stayed two weeks and wish we could have stayed longer.

Split Rock is one of the best experiences you can have, as it is both eye catching and breathtaking. Loads of amazing amenities and fun activity to pursue within the space. Jenny and Peter outdo themselves as hosts, creating a welcoming and engaging atmosphere. I’m very appreciative to have booked my stay with them as they are very understanding and helpful. Please consider booking your trip at their lovely estate, you will really be thankful to both Jenny and Peter for opening up their home to you by the end of your trip.

Peaceful and relaxing stay. We had everything we needed upon arrival. The Grandkids were never bored between hiking to explore the river to running under the trees playing tag to roasting marshmallows in the firepit. We even had a movie night on the projection screen.

Beautiful home, peaceful, exactly what we were looking for, for our family. Our boys enjoyed the fishing, using the kayaks, and fire pit. The chickens were very entertaining! The house was clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely plan another trip! Many thanks to the host!

This was a really really cute stay. My family and I enjoyed our stay and was surprised how efficient the whole space was regardless off the small home. Very clean, had multiple kitchen utensils, washroom is clean, the sleeping area was quite fun. Lot of options there too. Overall 10/10!! Liz and her co-host were very helpful and responsive.

The stay was amazing! loved all of the amenities the only thing I could recommend to future guests is get your groceries prior to going to the cabin because it is pretty far distance from grocery stores.
