Cottage holiday rentals in Durango

We stayed 2 nights in this beautiful cottage. The very well-equipped kitchen, jacuzzi and swimming pool very well cared for, and the neighbor's dog is very friendly. There are amazing landscapes around the area (we went to a beautiful waterfall). But above all, I would highlight the kindness and good communication with Veronica, she was very flexible and she was attentive to us when we needed it for punctual issues. ☺️ We would definitely repeat in this dream house ❤️ Thank you!!!

Antonio is a fantastic host. Super responsive and very helpful especially with recommendations for local walks and for helping with animal health certificate requirements for returning to the UK. The house was big enough for the 11 of us and there was plenty for all of us to do for the whole week we were there. Any issues we had were resolved incredibly quickly by Antonio. Just a short walk from the house is a lovely little cafe that sells baguettes, coffee and some alcohol - very reasonably priced but please note only takes cash which caught us out on our first visit. We visited Balmaseda a couple of times which has an incredible bakery which I would very much recommend. The train station is less than 5 minutes walk but we didn’t get the train whilst we were there - it may have been quicker to get to bilbao and something to check out if you visit again. All aspects of the stay were perfect. We were 5 young couples spending the weekend. Elena took care to make clear everything we could do and how we could take advantage of the time. She was also attentive in case we had any improvises. The house is perfect if you are looking to feel at home. Renovated and at the same time with original details of the house. A 10/10.

One of my best experiences ever . Irati was absolutely superb from start to finish an excellent communicator and nothing was too much bother . The cottage was delight ful and the scenery was amazing . She even organised our taxi in and out of the city not to mention booking our tables at the restaurants we ate in . Out of 10 I would give her 11

Great place and very accommodating

We had a great time at Ana's place, the perfect location. Everything was clean and tidy.

From the second I booked the beautiful villa in Sunbilla with Carmen and José, they took great care of advising with best activities, supporting with arrival and providing a wonderful clean home with all necessary amenities. We especially loved the restaurant elotxuri and the lake in natural reserve. We would love to come back when the pool is open next time. Thank you Carmen and José!

We're so glad we spent those days there. It was very relaxing, beautiful place. The welcome was really warm. The house is as described and very convenient. We are really happy. Small bonus for roommate with these two wouhs wouhs and these 4 ducks 😍

There were 6 of us and the house was wonderful, the best Airbnb I've stayed in so far and more for the price. Spacious house, modern, cozy and with impeccable decoration. Very well equipped with more than necessary to be very comfortable. The patio area is very good and we even had a barbecue. I would definitely stay here again. Finally, Jose is very kind, always attentive and giving recommendations, thank you very much, we had an incredible time despite the short time

We have been staying in the La Niña house 6 people and it was an unbeatable stay. The house is in a rural environment in the middle of nature where you can enjoy very nice views and disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city but in turn it is also close to the most touristic places in the area. The house is very cozy and offers all the necessary services and is as seen in the photos and description. Álvaro as host has taken care at all times that our stay was the best and to resolve all our doubts before and during the stay in the house. I recommend it 100%.

Wow, what great house. The location is absolutely stunning in a little village with beautiful mountain views. The house itself is great—they’ve done a great job renovating and the whole thing feels very new and fresh and clean. A perfect place for a peaceful escape. Great communication as well. I would definitely stay here again.

Fermin and Amelia are awesome. We are so thankful for their hospitality and their lovely home. Etxalar is amazing. One of the most beautfiful towns we have visited. Fermín y Amelia son increíbles. The stay at Laura's house was great, it has magnificent views of the Sierra de Codés and Mount Yoar. The porch and garden are phenomenal, the two dogs we brought enjoyed it a lot. Both Laura by phone and her father Fausti in town were attentive at all times. And a great touch to find the fireplace lit on arrival, on a cold day. Highly recommended

We had a great time at the house, which was super spacious and very tidy. Ideal for 8 people. There were 9 of us and there was a folding bed that was not very comfortable, so the person who slept there did not get much rest, but otherwise everything was ideal. Huge kitchen/dining room, the house is always warm, spacious rooms… no complaints.

An excellent place to stay, the house is big, nice and is very well equipped. We liked everything about the place, especially the fireplace they left us with firewood prepared. The surroundings are very nice and there are quite a few things to see nearby. Farid was very kind to greet us and made sure everything was perfect. It's a place to repeat and enjoy a few quiet days.

The place is beautiful and you have a lot of privacy as it is set back from the main home. It has everything you need to have a wonderful day. Thank you

A lovely space to relax. Quiet village but close enough to amenities. Iñaki was extremely helpful throughout and check in was easy.

The best house we've ever been in our life, magazine! Better than the photos, beautiful, welcoming and the welcome we were given was spectacular, we were at home! All super clean and thoughtful. House with a lot of personality that does not leave you indifferent, thank you really for the treatment received and the attention you have given us, definitely 100% recommended!!

An excellent stay, the house is very comfortable and very well equipped. Even better than expected! Jaime welcomed us very well and gave us good tourist advice. A home that feels like home. Juan Manuel was very kind and attentive, he helped us with everything we needed. Eskuernaga is a very beautiful town that can be easily explored in a short time. There was a bottle of wine from Juan Manuel's winery to welcome us, thank you very much 😊

Wonderful environment and a very cozy house, very large, with fireplace and gallery. Everything was very clean, a bathroom in each room and it was beautifully decorated. The ceilings with wooden beams are spectacular. The deal with Txomin was super friendly and left us eggs, bread and homemade pacharán as a welcome gift.

Barbara's accommodation in Eguillor is beautiful in every way: space, beautiful decor, perfect amenities, an enchanting setting, a soul linked to the past of the place. We benefited from the excellent advice of the owners and with Navarre we discovered a superb region, while we only knew the French side of the Basque Country. We would definitely stay again!
