House holiday rentals in Durango

The home was beautiful and worked so well for our group of 8. We had 3 families and all felt like we each had enough space. The kitchen had seasonings, foil, plastic wrap, baggies - all SO helpful when coming in to cook the first night (and stores were already closed). We appreciated those extras so much. Blankets were cozy, rooms were nice, games available for us to play - hosts were responsive and helpful! It was fun being there the weekend of the bike race that came right in front of the house! Awesome to have amenities at Purgatory available for us if we wanted to use them. BEAUTIFUL area! Highly recommend staying here!

Highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful mountain getaway. Great deck to eat meals outside and enjoy a fire among the trees and local marmots running around.

We had a great stay in the Purgatory Condo. We were close to the mountain and the Shuttle Service was excellent. We enjoyed the hot tub and comfortable surroundings after long days on the slopes.

We had a great stay at the Oasis Resort. The house was the cleanest Airbnb we have ever stayed in, and so bright and comfortable. There’s a lot to do on the RV resort for young kids, including a small playground, complimentary mini golf, and a swimming pool. The host were very friendly and responsive. Highly recommend!

Had a great stay. Perfect house for one big or couple smaller families. Ideal location for skiing (10 minutes drive to Purgatory resort). Community has indoor and outdoor pools which were clean. Will definitely stay again.

I highly recommend this location at Purgatory. It’s spacious for a family, has an open layout with two balconies (including beautiful views), and is very close to mountain amenities. This location includes resort access, which not all do, and it’s such a great add to have a gym, pool and hot tub at the end of lifts closing. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking your own meals. We had everything we needed, even seasonings. The ski lockers were also nice for storing gear away. I would definitely stay here again.

THIS IS THE HOUSE YOU WANT IN DURANGO. Our family absolutely loved this house. Host left us a generous welcome basket, which was wonderful to receive after driving all day to get to our destination. We loved that it was private, yet an easy 15 min drive to downtown Durango. Kids loved seeing the many animals around the property - marmots, chipmunks, deer. We hiked the trail behind the home and enjoyed the hot tub every night. It was rainy for most of the week we visited, so we were glad we chose a big house with plenty of space, good TV options and games/puzzles on site. Kitchen was the most-well-stocked we’ve ever experienced in an Airbnb and we loved that. All the tools you need to cook from scratch, plus condiments. Finally, a host who isn’t stingy with the dishwasher pods and extra TP! All showers worked well. Washer/dryer worked well. They let you use the garage! We will definitely be back. If this house were to go on the market we’d be interested. That’s how much we loved it.

Pictures don't do this place justice. The scenery and home are beautiful. The accommodations were exceptional and plenty of room for everyone to have some personal space. The host was responsive.

Andres' cabin was absolutely beautiful and exceeded our expectations! It was exactly as described—if not more—and the most well-equipped Airbnb we've ever stayed in. Every little detail was thoughtfully provided, making our vacation effortless and enjoyable. We were primarily here to snowboard at Purgatory, and the location was perfect for that. The home was also very family-friendly, which made our stay even more comfortable. We loved reading the story of how this place came to be—it added such a special touch. And of course, meeting the friendly neighbor dog, Hunter, was a highlight! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, well-equipped getaway!

Caleb and Mimi created a lovely getaway 10min outside of Durango. It's a place to feel right at home. Perfectly located near all tourist atttractions in the region, but also off the grid and close to nature. I would highly recommend staying here!

If you want a place to yourself but still close enough to town, this is the place to stay at! It was quiet, the dogs were able to run around safely within the yard, and my family enjoyed every part of our stay here. Lauren is responsive and she’s made staying at her Airbnb memorable and comfortable. Choose here if you’re in Durango, you won’t regret it 😁

The gorgeous views around this beautiful home were such a treat. The quietude and fireplace were a delight! The rooms were wonderful. There isn’t heat in the upstairs rooms but the bedding kept us warm!

The Salt of the Earth Ranch is great. Chelsea was a fantastic host and the home has wonderful views. We were doing a family guys trip to the area and couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. As outdoorsmen, the wildlife you could see from the back porch was pretty great. From mule deer, to prairie dogs, and even jack rabbits hopping around the yard, it was really great to go along with the mountain views. I would highly recommend if in the Durango area and looking for a place a little off the beaten path.

We were here for a wedding and loved where we stayed. The hosts responded quickly as we made some last-minute changes. Lovely hiking just out the door. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay! The house well cozy and had everything you need. We loved taking a hike every morning on the trail head next to the ski rental shop, which is an easy walk from the property. The views were beautiful and the location was peaceful. Would definitely stay there again!

This was a beautiful place to gather our Family (and 3 dogs) for our annual vacation. The home is warm, spacious, well appointed and eclectic in design, very welcoming. Especially loved the front deck morning and night. My adult kids & Grands loved the jacuzzi. Games on the patio in the evening were well lit. So private & peaceful. We hiked around the neighborhood lake & enjoyed Vallecito Reservoir. Figure a little drive to Durango. But the activities warrant the short drive. Further to Silverton, Purgatory & Ouray but all well worth it. Definitely give this 5 Stars!

This is truly a gem in Durango. It started off with absolutely above and beyond communication from Lynda before we arrived, imparting on us everything we needed to know so we were prepared for our arrival. What we immediately noticed upon arrival was the prestige setting this piece of paradise had to offer...so close to the town of Durango yet just outside enough to feel the bliss of being in a quiet, incredibly scenic area. Honestly, the accommodations are so nice and comfortable, and the setting so serene, it was a struggle to leave the beauty of this place to do the other things we planned. Lynda and Chris were so helpful with information of what to do with our existing plans, which made the trip seamless. By far, the best place and hosts we have ever had the privilege to visit. We will definitely be returning.

We had a very nice, relaxing stay. My daughter and her boyfriend really loved the place. I live in Durango...but it was so nice to get out of town a little ways, and actually feel like I was on vacation. I plan on trying to reserve for (2) weeks next year. We had an absolutely lovely time here. Mark's home was very cozy and welcoming. We got to see wildlife right in the front yard and really enjoyed that. The location was close to downtown so we were able to get to and from easily. The fireplace and hot tub were a plus. Thank you for everything!
