Holiday houses in Dunkerton

Just wanted to let you know about Jeremy's place which we recently stayed at during our nephew's visit to Clarke University in Iowa. The location was outstanding, it was merely a 5 to 7-minute commute to the university. The neighborhood offered a safe and welcoming ambiance, which we absolutely adored. If you are a night owl, there's a myriad of things to do that will keep you entertained. Furthermore, for the history enthusiasts, you would be charmed by the historical elements of the local area. To sum it up, Jeremy’s place was simply beautiful and I would personally recommend it to anyone considering a trip to the area in the future. Already looking forward to booking again sometime soon.

I stayed at Tony’s place for two nights while attending a local event, it was the perfect home base. Within walking distance are the lake, restaurants, and other misc businesses. The neighborhood was quiet, you will hear the traffic at night but it’s not overbearing. Kitchen is well stocked with appliances and wares, but make sure to bring your own condiments/sugar/spices. The home is spotless, comfortable, and cheery, you will love it.

The perfect way to stay along the beautiful upper Mississippi River. There is a direct view of the main channel from the cabin where we could watch river barges churning by occasionally and all the various birds. This location offers easy access to the effigy mounds monument park and Praire du Chien as well as other small river towns. It’s a taste of the river rat life with all the amenities. The lower patio at river level with the hottub was our choice hangout spot.

Bill and Nicole's house is immaculate and very centrally located in Decorah. They have thought of everything you might need for a stay and keep a very clean and attractive house. The walkability is excellent; easy access to the grocery store, coffee shop and several very good restaurants. With a little bit more walking it's easy to get to Pulpit Rock Brewery (excellent) and several more restaurant choices. The hosts are very responsive - we had a few questions about the house and they answered immediately. Overall this is is a fantastic place for a stay. Highly recommended.

We decided to spend the weekend in SW Wisconsin and stumbled upon this place. how lucky we were. Amazing value for such a lovely place. Upon entering the house there was a refreshing smell that my wife shared was knowing the place was recently cleaned. Instructions were clear but more than that the hosts always promptly responded to our queries, we're super helpful and proactive. The place was great in a very secluded area. we took walks at night and never encountered anyone but felt extremely safe. The facilities had everything we needed and more. highly recommend this place and plan on coming back later in the summer

Gabriel was a great host - checking in on us a couple of times to make sure everything was going alright. And when I let him know about a couple of little insignificant things that could use attention upon our check out, he was very receptive and said that he'd get them taken care of right away. The place worked great for us - just a note that the third bedroom (with 3 beds in it) is up a pretty narrow, steep set of stairs. We'd definitely stay again!

As we are not real techy, we had a little trouble with the lock and the TV, but Grant came over and helped us! We enjoyed meeting both him and his fiancé!!

Our family really enjoyed our stay at this location for an impromptu ski trip! The host, Jennifer, was wonderful to work with as she was very informative and answered all of our questions! Thanks! Heather Huebner
