About the Darinka cottage Our family cottage Darinka is located right by the lake, 60 metres from a private beach. It has two floors. There are two bedrooms and a toilet upstairs. On the ground floor, there is a large living room connected to the kitchen, and a bathroom. A pleasant terrace and a stone barbecue are also an integral part of this cottage. Facilities: washing machine, dishwasher, toaster, coffee machine, electric kettle, induction hob with electric oven, barbecue, TV, fireplace, Wi-Fi and parking right next to the cottage.

This tiny wooden house with a green garden is suitable for a solo traveler, a couple (with or without children), or two couples, for hippie souls, and for those who love simple country living “without plastic packaging.” The bathroom and attic room have a sloping ceiling, so a tall person will have to bend their head a little. The builder of the house (our father-in-law) was 195 cm tall and had a sense of humor :) A stocked refrigerator, for example with fruits and vegetables, can be available upon request.

This 90 year old rural cottage by the magnificient Little Danube river in the north corner of Great Rye Island, the biggest river island in Europe, is a perfect place for ultimate calmness and peace. Originally built by a farmer family, completely renovated in 2020, equipped with all facilities from washing machine, high speed internet to sauna and outdoor shower.
