Stunning Room in Edwardian House

MicheleRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Though Ballymoney itself wasn't really that interesting, our stay at Alan and Hilary's will remain one of the highlights of our trip to Ireland. As hosts, they are the epitome of graciousness. The house - being as quirky and full of character as it is, seems to attract kindred soul travelers, and we enjoyed everyone's company around the kitchen island, at the BBQ, and at the breakfast table. Hilary, by the way, puts on the MOST amazing breakfast each morning. We we very well-rested and well-fed and ready to take on the Causeway or Rathlin or whatever with Ballymoney as our home base. We won't think of returning to Ireland unless it includes returning there!

Lovely quaint place to stay, clean, spacious and spotless. Loved the half door! Immediate response when I needed assistance. Enjoyed our brief stay. Our host very kindly posted a shawl I had left behind.

Glenstall Cottage

Absolutely perfect stay! I recently had the pleasure of staying at this Airbnb, and I truly cannot fault a single thing. From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The check-in process was seamless and communication with the host was prompt, friendly, and helpful. The space itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with every amenity I could possibly need. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the apartment - even a welcome basket with snacks.

We thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, and the convenience to the locations we visited for our trip. Would recommend, and if, no when, we return to Ireland, will try to book again

Coachman's Cottage. 18th Century 5 Star Cottage.

SarahRating, 5 stars10 months ago
This cottage is just beautiful. It is clean and spacious. As we love self catering, it was good to have a well equipped kitchen. Eileen had provided some basic food for us, which was so appreciated, especially as our stay was cut short because I made a mistake about our ferry crossing from the Isle of Man. Hence we arrived 3 days late! So having provisions for breakfast, and of such high quality, was really welcome. The bedrooms were comfortable and it was great to have an en suite with each room. Properly functioning, lovely shower too. The space was flexible; we like to eat at the table, but there was also space to use our laptops. My only regret is not staying for longer in this wonderful home.

The place was absolutely amazing, more than what we expected.Linda and Derwood are very lovely hosts, and they have prepared/arranged the place as way more than other place we visited.(as they really care about and with accomodating needs for everyone).Definetly we wilk go back again whenever we will travel to North Ireland. We booked for 1 night, next time wi will go for minimum 3-5 days. Place was very clean, puzzles and family games, relaxing couches,tv,fridge stock up with milk, water butter, diferent selection of coffees, teas, sugar, basic ingridients for cooking(oil, vinegar, salt, spices),cooking utensils, pots, pans)bed spreads and towels were matching( few details that anyone can see/feel that hosts really care .they got me at the personal care products stock available-amazing and thank you). Was 10 times better than what a hotel room can provide.

The Barley Store@Walkmill Farm

This was our third time staying at Simon and Belinda’s place and we thoroughly enjoyed it yet again. It’s a lovely bolt hole. Very thoughtfully kitted out with all the amenities you’d want. Good to stay in and cook dinner or eat out at one of the local restaurants. Very chilled. We will be back xx
