Salamander Chalet

Enjoy the peace, the view and the comfort of this stylish chalet. Very suitable as a romantic getaway or relaxing in nature with your family. We are at 650 meters altitude, in a hot summer it is always a little cooler than in the valley and with a breeze, very pleasant. At night, the lake cools down and it's a good night's sleep. We don't need air conditioning. Dogs are welcome, €15 per stay. For the winter, there is a wood-burning stove. We provide a wheelbarrow with firewood for €15.

This gorgeous two story gîte has been updated to a high standard throughout but still contains its rustic charm. Inside you'll find three double bedrooms tastefully decorated, two doubles on the first floor and one bedroom with 2 single beds on the ground floor, one bathroom, a downstairs shower room and good-sized living accommodation, including kitchen diner and separate lounge. Townhouse located in a small peaceful village near the Pyrenees, this accommodation will offer a relaxing nature stay for the whole family. Within a radius of about twenty km, you can visit the towns of Mirepoix (medieval city), Foix (Gaston Phébus castle), Montségur (Cathar castle). Toulouse and Carcassonne are within an hour and offer many sightseeing opportunities. Pets are allowed, but there is no garden. Evenings and parties not allowed.
