What a place and what a view! A great time was had by our family of 7 in this amazing place. We had lots of great communication from the host on our stay. It was a place that we shared great meals with the well stocked kitchen and grill, played games and laughed around the amazing north woods dining table, and we were able to get to all the parks and attractions that we wanted with the convenient location on Hwy 61. Thanks so much for a great place to stay...we've already recommended you to a number of friends :)

we had a great stay, there were a few mechanical issues that were solved right away for us. my only real issue was the price was a bit high, especially compared to some nearby rentals, however it is a beautiful place to stay.

Located across from a school with a playground. The main floor has three rooms, two of them are on the medium large side the third is smaller (perfect for kids room). We had family members with kids visit us and the small room was great for nap time. The basement has a lot of free space, a bedroom, bathroom and laundry room. The kitchen had a good variety of dishes and utensils. Fridge was equipped with condiments and freezer had some food too. The rooms were clean and tidy. We enjoyed our stay at this place!

Our getaway was absolutely ideal! With ample space for all seven of us, we found the perfect balance of comfort and fun. The two little ones had plenty of room to play indoors with the chilly weather outside. The kitchen was a dream, equipped with everything we needed to whip up delicious breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. We truly can’t express how perfectly this place catered to all our needs—it made our trip unforgettable!

Jacob's beautiful home was perfect for our large family. Our Hawaii themed birthday party was a hit and your home offered the ideal space for making lasting memories. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The location was also very convenient. It was just a few minutes away from the hockey rink where we enjoyed a fun filled tournament. We were happy with the local businesses in town providing our food, drinks, decor and cake. Thank you Jacob for the great hospitality! Our stay was special and memorable. We would absolutely stay again.

Beautiful lake home! We really enjoyed our stay here, very close to Lake Superior and Gooseberry falls a short drive away. Everything was clean and cozy, our son loved all the little black bear decorations :)

The cabin was beautiful! It was private and we felt like we were removed from everything. We were able to relax and recharge. We were left great ideas for hiking, food, and sightseeing. We would love to book it again!

We stayed here for a bachelorette weekend and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The place was so cute and cozy and was exceptionally clean! Our family of four had a most enjoyable and relaxing stay here. I have no hesitation in recommending this location and the kind hosts. It made for a great relaxing and peaceful retreat near the Duluth area. It was an easy drive to Duluth and the North Shore. We would definitely choose to return if there was an opportunity to do so. The best thing about this house is the view! We constantly looked down the hill to Lake Superior and watched ships go under the lift bridge. The house was perfect for our 10 family members. It was extremely clean, well stocked and well-designed. There is a large parking lot for multiple cars and a huge yard where we had a family baseball game. In the mornings we had coffee on the wrap around deck where there were lots of chairs. We attended a wedding down on Park Point and it only took us 10 minutes to get there (although we reminded each other allow extra time in case the lift bridge went up). We had a wonderful time and this was the perfect place for us to stay and have fun. We all agreed that we would all stay at this place again. Thanks, Amanda!

We have always wanted to stay on Canal Park in Duluth. It is a nice walk to everything and a great place to bike. Since parking in Duluth can be an issue it was so nice just to park the bikes. The house was so clean, had beautiful views and lovely spots to sit located around the house. Being right on the beach was such a treat for my 4 grandkids. The beds were very comfortable and one bedroom has a fantastic view of the sunrise! We enjoyed our stay immensely!!

Absolutely loved our stay at the beautiful house right off Lake Superior in Duluth! The place is incredibly cozy and well-maintained, with a fantastic location right near the walking path and the lake. There is a ton of amenity's that is in walking distance. We were able to walk 5 minutes and rent the electric scooters. You hopped on the scooter and basically could get anywhere in town from the house. It was perfect! If you do plan on scootering there is parking station at McDonalds or the park down the road, both are only about a 5 minute walk. Leila was an amazing host—very accommodating and thoughtful, making sure we had everything we needed. She was super respectful and truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Duluth. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Awesome spot to stay in Duluth! Quiet, comfortable, private and pet friendly. Conveniently located near downtown and close enough to Canal Park and Lincoln Park shops to make it easy to get to all the great things Duluth has to offer.

This place was fantastic! Exactly what we were looking for on our getaway trip. Quiet location to relax and enjoy the hot tub in the evenings. Quick trip to town for anything. Will definitely be back!!

Meredith was very responsive, friendly, helpful and accommodating during our stay. I highly recommend her well kept, beautiful home on the lovely shores of Lake Superior!! We enjoyed the shoreline, sauna and fire pit during our stay. The deck and rear enclosed porch were comfortable and made for a great spot for relaxing, reading, and having family game nights. The windows on the back of the home offer “superior” viewing with ease of opening to hear the roll of the waves! The furnishings were fresh, clean and offered enough comfortable spaces to relax. The dining room was my favorite spot as it showcased the architectural charm of the house as well as providing ample table space to have dinner, conversation and another option for family game nights. The location provided great access to all Duluth has to offer as well as coastal hiking spots. It was nice to have this beautiful and welcoming home to return to after a day of adventures!

We had a wonderful stay! I was traveling with my 5-year-old and 3-year-old, and this place couldn’t have been more perfect for a family getaway. The kids loved spending time by the lake, playing with the extra toys and games on the property, and especially making s’mores by the fire at night. It was the kind of stay where you truly make lasting memories together. A special shoutout to Daniela. She was fantastic. Super attentive, quick to respond, and incredibly accommodating throughout our stay. Her personal touch made the whole experience even better. This is our second stay at Benjamin and Molly’s House on the Hill and it has been amazing each time! The hosts are very proactive in their communication and quickly respond to any questions or updates. The house itself is wonderful for a large group, has beautiful gathering spaces, but also lots of cozy nooks to get some quiet time. We didn’t have kids at the house with us, but the house is well outfitted with lots of children’s equipment, books, and toys. Can’t wait to stay here again next year!
