Holiday rentals with lake access in Dublin Southside

Lovely and very quiet and peaceful place. The room is big and nice and Margart helps you whatever you need. Just at the corner I beautiful little public park, the Renelagh Louas stop and supermarkets. I would have stayed longer!

I don't even know how to start, 5 stars for the rating are not enough here, you would have to be able to give 1000 stars, our stay with Nikki and Niall was so wonderful. On arrival: The accommodation is easy to find by following the directions, we were allowed to leave our suitcases there before check-in. About the accommodation: Simply fantastic. We had a double room with a super comfortable bed and an en suite bathroom. The entire house is so beautifully decorated, small details make it special – you feel at home. Everything is very clean. There are several bus stops directly in front of the accommodation, from there you can easily start your day trips. And now to Nikki and Niall: you don't often meet people who are so nice, open-minded, loving and helpful. We also got to know Niall's sister, a person just as wonderful as Nikki and Niall. I had the pleasure of staying with Andrew and Josie for 3 nights for a hiking trip. The accomodation was simple, clean, comfortable, and private, as advertised, and is located in a beautiful part of Wicklow. Andrew was very responsive to my queries and was kind enough to suggest local walking routes and sights, even offereing collection and drop off for some of the routes further afield. The accomodation is sited right at the start of a hiking trail, which connects to numerous other routes - perfect if you want to get up and start walking without delay. A fantastic find, I'm excited to return as soon as life allows.

If you love peace and nature, this is what you are looking for. Beautiful apartment with a truly beautiful view of a beautiful area from the living room or the terrace. Isabel gives you a warm welcome, is extremely hospitable and is also helpful.

The 2 nights at Mikes flat have been brilliant. The flat is very good and has enough space. Everything was very clean and in good condition. I had a group with 6 basketball girls there and they loved the stay there. Communication was also very good. From previous general experiences in Airbnb that was better than expected.

Staying here was great! A very quaint place and very easy to get in and out of. Wonderful, stay here!

what lovely stay. this place was perfect and i cant wait to come back. the place was well appointed and cozy. perfect for my spouse and our best friends. we ran into one small problem with the washer and Eilis popped right over and got it sorted. the estate is lovely and peaceful. 10/10. will come again.

A lovely peaceful place to stay. Easy to find and flexible check-in. Everything feels new and very clean. Kitchen is well-equipped and there is a big table in the main sitting area which offers plenty of room to sit and eat but is also appropriate for anyone who might want to walk. It’s not an easy walk to shops or bars (more because no footpaths than because of distance) but it’s a short trip in a car to various nice villages and we felt very welcomed in all of them. Beds were comfortable, curtains were quite light which means you may need an eye mask if you are sensitive to light and are there in mid summer, but we all slept very well though and loved the peace and quiet.

Lidia was very gracious and helpful. Great communication and the place was very clean, in a quiet neighborhood, and very short walk to bus & train stations and grocery stores. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at the coach house in Valleymount. The house itself was spotless and very comfortable with everything you need. There is thought put into this house as an airbnb. The beautiful garden backs onto Blessington Lake, where we enjoyed a peaceful walk along the water’s edge, such a scenic and relaxing spot. The coach house is next to the main house but you feel like you are in a private space, sitting outside at the benches with a cup of tea relaxing after a day of touring was ideal. The location was ideal for exploring Wicklow. Highlights for us were Mount Usher Gardens, the Ballinastoe Boardwalk through the woods, and the incredible Avondale Beyond the Trees. We also took a trip into Dublin for some shopping. There were plenty of lovely places to eat nearby, especially in Hollywood and Blessington. A perfect base for both relaxing and exploring highly recommended. The host is friendly and welcoming.

My favourite place on Earth 😊 While it’s close enough to Dublin, it’s so private and peaceful it feels like you are completely away from civilisation in the most positive way. The surrounding are absolutely stunning, and there is a lot of sightseeing nearby. This place is just perfect for disconnecting from the busy city life. And lastly, Richard and Ben are fantastic hosts, very friendly, responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back here myself 💚

It was so beautiful! It’s a great wilderness escape to wind down and relax.

Lovely cottage we used as a base to explore the Wicklow Mountains for a few days. Hosts were friendly and flexible with check in. The gardens around are beautiful to wake up to in the morning.

Stayed here multiple times now, always a great stay. Had an issue with the hot water and a plumber was there within 12 hours and the problem was sorted which we were very impressed with.
