Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Downtown San Jose

Beautiful Airbnb! Very spacious, very comfortable for my husband and me. I often do not book airbnbs with a few reviews, but I decided to take a chance with this one. Rebecca's communication even before I decided to book - was quick, friendly & very communicative. That was a huge plus for me and I booked immediately. Many Pros * Clean & Spacious * Beautiful backyard! - Dog friendly too (we did not bring our dog but next time we might) * Quiet! I am a very light sleeper and I barely heard any noise at night * AC - I get hot easily so this was perfect * Washer/Dryer stocked with detergent * Have your own parking - there is street parking but may be busy at night but still manageable The only thing that I noticed but not a big deal for us - is the angle of the TV. So you will have to sit at a certain angle on some couches to see the TV clearly. But not a big deal since I was enjoying watching TV from the small dining table. 10/10 would recommend.

Guys! Go for this one if you are still on a “which one to pick” situation. We had such a wonderful time during our stay! Thank you for everything—the comfy bed sheets, the great room aromatherapy, the smooth check-in process, and all those sweet little extras you provided for us. Such a nice place to stay in Silicon Valley. Tucked back into the beautiful hills, with a walking loop through the oak trees just down the street. Responsive host. A perfect retreat.

Absolutely magical stay in Brookdale! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene beauty of this property. The gentle sounds of the creek just outside set the perfect tone for a relaxing getaway. The outdoor area, complete with a stunning outdoor fireplace, became our favorite spot to unwind each evening under the stars. Inside, the house was just as impressive—beautifully maintained, cozy, and thoughtfully appointed. It was perfectly clean and had everything we needed. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking up our vacation breakfasts. Every detail made it feel like a true home away from home. Our kids didn’t want to leave. And the location? Simply unbeatable. Nestled among the towering, awe-inspiring redwoods, it felt like we were in our own private forest retreat. We couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful, magical setting. This place is a hidden gem—we’re already planning our next visit!

We absolutely loved our stay at Samara’s. Wish we were staying longer! The place was even better than described. We felt right at home, both because of the place and Samara’s hospitality. She was so communicative, kind, and accommodating. The space had everything we needed and everything worked well. The building is wonderful- nice gym, great little lobby for working, and a lovely outside space. Lots of spots nearby for food and drinks. Street parking was easy and we never had an issue. Would 100% stay again (and hope to).

Clean and organized. Had everything I needed to cook which is very important to me. Will stay again next time I’m in town.

It’s a nice place. Looks newly renovated. Nice shoe storage, patio with furniture to sit. Pool view. Laura has stocked most of the things needed. Spices, enough dishwasher pods, laundry detergen etc.. Pots and pans looked little old. Check-in is very easy and the auto lock works really well. One assigned car parking was given. Not easy to get a parking spot on street. A nice stay overall. Felt like home..

Very great place

Gary and Dagmar were great communicators. After a long drive from Oregon, the rolling green hills above the city was awe inspiring. We kept marveling at the beautiful surroundings—cows parading at the backyard and the stars at night were beautiful. Thank you Gary for sharing your knowledge and insights…

Booked this place last minute. It was a great stay for a decent price especially compared to the area. Lots of parking options - plenty of street parking so you don’t need to use the garage at all unless you’re there all day. (Street parking is 2 hour limit from 9 AM-6PM, but didn’t look like it was enforced) The building was very clean and felt very safe. The train is conveniently located and the noise really wasn’t that bad. I’m a super light sleeper and it didn’t really disturb me. Plus Locale provided ear plugs and a white noise machine. The amenities were nice new and pristine. I didn’t see many residents in the building so I assume this is used as short term corporate housing and short term rentals only. The area is nice with restaurants and coffee shops in walking distance. The unit was clean and modern. Great place if you are visiting Stanford etc would stay here again

Great little apartment, which was even nicer than what I was expecting from the pictures. Full-sized fridge and stove. Very clean. It’s a part of someone’s house, so it’s not a place you would want for a party. Tub and walk-in shower, walk-in closet, a bed and a pull-out bed. We had a good experience!

Convenient location. Hotel quality without the hotel feel and for a great price. Have to download an app to park, and had trouble unlocking garage gate on first night, but host was super responsive and helped resolve the issue quickly. Would book again.

I was blown away with this stay! Sharon and Nick are great hosts. They made the entire stay comfortable and smooth. The cabin was so cute, too! Clean, well decorated, and fairly well stocked with your essentials. The extra touches they put throughout the cabin put us over the top. The robes, the snacks, the coffee bar- We LOVED all of it and felt so spoiled and taken care of. The outdoor amenities was the chefs kiss. Highly highly recommend this stay!

Wonderful stay at an enchanting cabin in the redwoods. It's close to the town of Boulder Creek and a very comfortable stay. We will definitely be coming back.

Beautiful property! My husband and I had a "mini moon" here after our wedding in Saratoga, and had a very nice relaxing time together with our dog (who also loved the property). Other than the obvious reason we booked (beautiful outdoor space with multiple redwoods), we loved spacious king suite downstairs, soaking tub in the downstairs bathroom, and the cozy wood burning fireplace in the living room. We would definitely book with them again!

The owner Masood was very kind and welcomed us around the entire property. The Wi-Fi didn’t work but we didn’t mind as we were there for a getaway. Being surrounded by the noise of the adjacent river and trees made the whole weekend truly surreal. Indoor fireplace in the living room really heats up the place and was great fun. Would definitely come back here and visit Masoods duck lodge again🙏🏽

Rachel’s place was truely amazing. Felt like a fairy tale in the woods. Very close to SF with proximity to nice restaurants in San Jose or to the beach in Santa Cruz. Was one of my favorite airBnB to date.
