We had a wonderful stay at the Margaret Anne in Des Moines! The location was perfect — close to everything we needed, and in a quiet, convenient neighborhood. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. It easily accommodated four adults and an infant, and we appreciated how family-friendly the space was. We’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area and would gladly stay again.

I had a wonderful stay. The house is so charming and beautifully decorated. The beds are very comfortable. While the house is small, it doesn’t feel cramped in the least. You have everything you need in a very workable space. If I need a place in DM again, this will be my first choice.

We loved this cute little home! It’s all updated! The bathrooms have heated toilets and one has a bidet built in. The showers are roomy and nice! The living room furniture is comfy and welcoming! TV worked great! Kitchen is nice also. Has everything you need! The location is central to anywhere you want to go. And when you stay here, you must walk to the Waveland Cafe for breakfast! Everything was delicious! Oh and the hosts are super responsive and helpful!

This is one of the best Airbnb or Vrbo’s that we’ve stayed at. Super charming house in a unique location. You are almost downtown but tucked back into a quiet wooded area. We saw a deer in the morning. We loved the deck and the charming decor. Plus the host provides thoughtful amenities. (This is definitely not one of those places with no coffee filters for the coffee maker!) If you are considering this place, just book it before someone else does.

We were a group of 11 and Jody was very helpful with our last min plans after another AirBnb cancelled on us last min. This is a yearly even that we do in Des Moines and look forward to booking from him in the future.

A nice place that is located close to major shopping and prometric testing center. Fit my needs well, can highly recommend to others.

The place was conveniently located, very good size, and the price seemed reasonable. It did indicate that the evenings were loud with a bar/restaurant across the street, but we knew that going into it. We were very pleased with our stay. Thank you so very much.

Beautiful and comfortable home! This house is a delight with lots of charming details and amenities. The house offers plenty of square footage with multi-use rooms and spaces throughout. The pool was beautiful, clean, and so much fun. We were in town to visit our son for his college graduation from Drake University. This home made the weekend even better for our family to celebrate the occasion. The location is close to everything and the neighborhood is historic and beautiful. We would highly recommend this home to anyone staying in the Des Moines area.

We had an amazing experience staying at this beautiful barndominium! The space was spotless and incredibly comfortable. One of the highlights was the indoor gym—it was such a unique and convenient feature to have right on-site. The hosts were absolutely wonderful—super responsive, helpful, and clearly committed to making sure our stay was perfect. Every question we had was answered quickly - I’m talking within minutes! Amy puts the ‘super’ in ‘super host’! If you’re looking for a clean, well-appointed space with great amenities and top-notch hosts, this is the place. We booked for next year before leaving. Highly recommend!

I will definitely stay again! The house was located minutes from downtown, local restaurants and easy access to the interstate. He even had the little extras that made it even more special. Different personal hygiene products, snacks as a welcoming gift, coffee pods/creamer, popcorn etc. Every room had a ceiling fan and extra box fan. Beds were comfortable- the king is a memory foam and the 2 queens are more of a softer/ flexible mattress. We all slept great! We felt comfortable and safe in the neighborhood. We were even able to grill out right off the front of the deck. He was very responsive and accommodating!

We really enjoyed our stay at Jane's property. It is located in a quiet suburban area, only a few minutes from downtown De Moines, with a modest small town residential feel. The home is excellently maintained. Jane definitely a "super host" ... friendly, knowledgeable, responsive, and professional. Her property demonstrates her pride in ownership and attention to details, for example clear labeling of the kichen equipment and other items for guest use. We would recommend that you consider staying in this property if you have occasion to be in the Des Moines metro area.

This place has always been wonderful, it's very quiet and peaceful. We had a wonderful time with our family and hope to visit again soon.

We had a great stay at this house with our two dogs. The location is great - about 10 minutes or less from most attractions in the city. The neighborhood felt safe and I enjoyed getting out for a walk in the morning. House was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was very nice, clean, and well-maintained. Kirk and Susannah were incredibly responsive and checked in regularly to make sure everything was going well. The highlight for us was definitely the kids’ playroom and gym — my son was entertained the entire time! The space is extremely kid-friendly, with a wide variety of toys, toddler bathroom necessities, and thoughtful touches that made our stay so much easier as a family. Highly recommend for anyone traveling with young children. We’d happily stay again!

Kelsey’s place was very clean and perfect for our stay in Des Moines. It was close to everything you could need as well. She had a coffee bar set up which is perfect in the mornings.
