When built in 1952 by my late grandfather these units were offered fully furnished providing temporary housing primarily to the construction workers living away from their families working on my grandfather's construction crew. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This cozy studio feels like a peaceful cabin with the amenities of a home. A Queen platform bed in its private nook with custom shelving and the perfect relaxing area to enjoy your 55in smart TV. The mini kitchen features an induction stovetop, microwave toaster oven. The studio has a walk-in shower and washer and dryer. Although we are pup friendly there is a limit of 1 dog. We can't accommodate cats. Large yard but it is not fenced.

Situated in a historic and secure building in the heart of downtown you can easily walk to restaurants, art galleries, shopping, the museum, coastal trail, Ship Creek and the railroad depot. There is a view of the inlet and Mt. Susitna (Sleeping Lady) along with gorgeous sunsets (weather permitting) from both the main living area and the bedroom.
