This place was exactly what my spouse and I were looking for in terms of peace and relaxation away from the city. Eric was a great host with many local recommendations for us. Thank you Eric for providing us with everything we were looking for!

Beautiful little cabin, extremely peaceful which is exactly what we were looking for. Kristin and Chris were very nice and it was great that our dogs could play together. Definitely would go back ☺️

Kate's retreat is a perfect getaway from the city. Quiet, private, with lots of nature surrounding the cottage. The sauna, hot tub, and fireflies at night - were the extras on top. Thanks so much.

Wanda’s cozy little cabin was the perfect spot for a relaxing winter getaway! Her place exceeded the photos, as soon as we walked in Wanda already had the wood stove fireplace going so that the place was warm and cozy when we arrived. She was extremely pleasant and responsive when we had questions and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We loved it so much we didn’t want to leave! Would definetley recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway.

We loved our mini getaway! We had everything we needed and more! Sleeping was a dream. Comfy bed (and cozy couch!) Chilled by the fire…. Wandered the road…. Peaceful vibes. Kyle and his wife have thought of everything….from the record player to playing some cards by the fire! Thank you for hosting us. Very cozy cabin. Has everything you could need, all what you have to bring is your clothings. We even had the chance to taste their homemade maple syrup! Close enough to Bancroft but still tranquil, nobody can access the cabin but you. We saw people stopping by on the otherside of the lake but it feels OK and not invading, it is far enough to not care. Wildlife was abundant. We did not have much mosquitoes or annoying bugs outside and literally none inside. We went there as a couple with a dog and, once used to the space the cabin offers, did not feel squeezed, although it is not huge. Hosts were very kind and responsive. If you like small, serene and cozy places, this is a must try.

Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, from the cozy decor to the well-stocked amenities that made our stay super comfortable and convenient. The atmosphere is peaceful and charming, with little touches that really elevate the experience. Stephanie was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which made everything smooth and stress-free. We loved our time here and will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a relaxing and beautifully curated space!

Ben’s cabin is a tranquil, private retreat with great vibes, great air flow & gorgeous natural light. And, when you’re not playing your own music, which Ben encourages, the birdsong & train whistle throughout the pines and poplars will heal what may ail you! We didn’t want to leave. Ever. Thank you to our beautiful hosts. We never met you in person but we know you’re cool as hell ☺️

We had a wonderful stay at this property over the weekend! The place offered a beautiful view of the lake, which made the mornings and evenings especially peaceful. It came with plenty of amenities, games , including access to both a kayak and a canoe, with life jackets thoughtfully provided. Our host, Brendon, was incredibly helpful and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I’m definitely planning to visit this property again. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway close to nature.

I had a truly wonderful stay at this cozy little cabin right on the water. It’s the perfect spot for anyone looking to unwind and get away from the noise of the city. The cabin itself is clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you need and more. Waking up to the view of the water just steps from the door was a highlight, and I even spotted some local wildlife during my stay. If you’re looking for a quiet, nature-filled retreat to recharge and disconnect, this place is ideal. Highly recommend.

We booked Yogi’s Cabin last minute and couldn’t be happier we did! Perfect spot for our family of four (plus our pup!). The view is stunning, the lake is quiet and peaceful, and the cabin had everything we needed for an stress-free stay. Clean, cozy, and full of thoughtful touches, including a lovely welcome gift! A beautiful cottage right on the water. Quiet and peaceful, lots of birds and critters. The place was super clean, the kitchen and BBQ were nice and well kept. We had a great time!

This was my second time after visiting a year prior with my son. We both liked the cabin so much when we visited the first time that we were happy that it was available when we returned to Haliburton again. Nice, clean, comfortable accommodations at a great location.

The cottage was peaceful, private, and fully stocked with all the daily use stuff we forgot to pack (a lifesaver, honestly). Only letdown? The weather. Still, the vibes were right, and we made the most of it. Definitely would book again.

Our stay at this cabin exceeded our expectations! The photos do not do the beautiful spot justice. A gorgeous river right outside your window and lots of indoor and outdoor space. The huge covered outdoor patio was a highlight! We had fun peddling up and down the river fishing and enjoying the nature around us. Tania was also always easy to contact and a great host. We will surely be back in the future for another relaxing weekend.

The host was super responsive, the resort is well maintained and the people are friendly. It was a wonderful cottage country experience. Each resort has its own propane bbq and fire pit. You got to buy your own wood. Plenty of outdoor activities- ping pong, basketball and volleyball court, play structure for the kids etc. Great place!
